Different interpretation
Revisado: 12-12-24
Really enjoy the narrator Rosalyn Landor. She kills it. I really love listening to her tell stories. The author did a fantastic job on the book. Very informative follows along with the timeline of history but was a little different than I understood it to be. Might be more accurate? Great listen, wonderful book.

Historia
Best-selling author and acclaimed historian Alison Weir tells the tragic story of Henry VIII’s fifth wife, a 19-year-old beauty with a hidden past, in this fifth novel in the sweeping Six Tudor Queens series. In the spring of 1540, Henry VIII is desperate to be rid of his unappealing German queen, Anna of Kleve. A prematurely aged and ailing 49, with an ever-growing waistline, he casts an amorous eye on a pretty 19-year-old brunette, Katheryn Howard.

Made tough choice and steered off of Philippa Gregory. Really glad that I found Alison Wier. Incredible information to gain, beautiful storytelling and riveting tale altogether.

Historia
Jane Grey was queen of England for nine days. Her father and his allies crowned her instead of the dead king's half sister, Mary Tudor, who quickly mustered an army, claimed her throne, and locked Jane in the Tower of London. When Jane refused to betray her Protestant faith, Mary sent her to the executioner's block, where Jane transformed her father's greedy power grab into tragic martyrdom.

I truly enjoy the novels that are multiple stories in one, but this is one of my all time favorites out of the entire series.

Historia
It’s been a decade since Trumanell Branson disappeared, leaving only a bloody handprint behind. Her pretty face still hangs like a watchful queen on the posters on the walls of the town’s Baptist church, the police station, and in the high school. They all promise the same thing: We will find you. Meanwhile, Tru's brother, Wyatt, lives as a pariah in the desolation of the old family house, cleared of wrongdoing by the police but tried and sentenced in the court of public opinion and in a new documentary about the crime.
