Historia
New planets are fair game to asset strippers and interplanetary opportunists – and a commercial mission to a distant star system discovers a moon that is pitch black, but alive with radio activity. Its high-gravity, high-pressure, zero-oxygen environment is anathema to human life, but ripe for exploitation. They named it Shroud. Under no circumstances should a human end up on Shroud’s inhospitable surface. Except a catastrophic accident sees Juna Ceelander and Mai Ste Etienne doing just that.

Adrian’s best work yet
Revisado: 03-22-25
All his works never fail to intrigue and surprise, and this is no exception.
The exploration of what can be a mind, and how alien worlds can meet and interact is exceptional. Very recommended.

Great book, hope it’ll be re dubbed
Revisado: 08-28-24
As all of Tchaikovsky’s books, this one is also full of very interesting and nuanced sci-fi ideas, all packaged in a great story, that leaves the listener satisfied. Too bad for the audio tho, the reader has a very strong accent that makes it difficult for a non native speaker to understand, and also he seems to read every sentence in the same tone that becomes repetitive very fast, and doesn’t properly convey the actions being read.

Historia
The Wizard's Council of Tarador was supposed to tell young Koren Bladewell that he is a wizard. They were supposed to tell everyone that he is not a jinx, that all the bad things that happen around him are because he can't control the power inside him, power he doesn't know about. The people of his village, even his parents, are afraid of him, afraid he is cursed. That he is a dangerous, evil jinx.

Historia
Colonel Joe Bishop made a promise and he's going to keep it; taking the captured alien starship Flying Dutchman back out. He doesn't agree when the UN decides to send almost 70 elite Special Operations troops, hotshot pilots, and scientists with him; the mission is a fool's errand he doesn't expect to ever return from. At least, this time, the Earth is safe, right? Not so much.

When Eve discovers the truth, she realizes everything she thought she knew about herself is a lie. Eve manages to escape, fleeing the lab, the only home she’s ever known.

What a performance
Revisado: 01-18-20
This audiobook really shines for the incredible performance of the voice actors. And I’m not saying the story is of any less quality. For a story about a robot, it’s very much human. So even if you’re not into sci-fi, (even better if you are) give it a try. You’ll be hooked before the second chapter; and you’ll rethink about all the performances you’ve heard before.
