Historia
Tantra Illuminated takes the listener on a fascinating journey to the very heart of original Tantra: its key teachings, foundational lineages, and transformative practices. Since the West's discovery of Tantra 100 years ago, there has been considerable fascination, speculation, and more than a little misinformation about this spiritual movement. Now, for the first time in the English language, Tantra Illuminated presents an accessible introduction to this sacred tradition that began 1,500 years ago in the far north of India.

Tantric knowledge

Best Introduction into what Tantra is.
Revisado: 06-18-19
Tantra has been misrepresented today with neo tantric sexual practices. If you want to learn what Tantra really is start here. Hareesh uses his Academic disciplines to teach to a western audience the history and spiritual practice of Tantra. He reads from some texts like Tantrasara and relates it to a modern western audience in away that keeps the original meaning. I hope you enjoy it.

Historia
Ancient Egyptian civilization is so grand our minds sometimes have difficulty adjusting to it. It lasted 3,000 years, longer than any other on the planet. Its Great Pyramid of Cheops was the tallest building in the world until well into the 19th century and remains the only Ancient Wonder still standing. And it was the most technologically advanced of the ancient civilizations, with the medical knowledge that made Egyptian physicians the most famous in the world.

Absolutely Amazing
Revisado: 05-28-19
I strongly recommend everyone listen to this who has any interest in Egyptology. You will appreciate modern history, religion, film and women's rights even more after this course.
So many great topics I am not sure where to start. This covers topics like prehistoric times, Hatshepsut the first Female Pharaoh & Bad A OG, Egyptian magic, Mythology, how mummy's were made and King Tutankhamun to just name a few. The content goes just beyond surface level knowledge and is presented in an entertaining manner for the subject matter. I hope you enjoy this one.

Historia
Music is an integral part of humanity. Every culture has music, from the largest society to the smallest tribe. Its marvelous range of melodies, themes, and rhythms taps in to something universal. Babies are soothed by it. Young adults dance for hours to it. Older adults can relive their youth with the vivid memories it evokes. Music is part of our most important rituals, and it has been the medium of some of our greatest works of art.

Revisado: 02-26-19
If you enjoy playing, studying or even just listening to music you will enjoy this. This is one of many ways to better understand music but through "different" discipline.
Time is spent discussing animals, our perceptions of language and melodues, some time is spent on the basics of theory and a good deal of time focuses on child development. I found one lecture on medical research and music application to be thrilling but all to short.
I would recommend this book to late teens and all adults, primarily to young parents.

Great book series. I think Card, Jade and Thrawn are great additions to the starwars legacy. I Hope Mara and Card come back into cannon. A must read for any real starwars fan and surpasses most of the now cannon books.

Great Course (Doesn't understand bad reviews)
Revisado: 09-12-17
Excellent material for anyone interested in expanding their story telling capabilities or even public speaking skills. The only limiting factor is this is in audio format and doesn't allow one to visualize what some of her examples are. I have bought a copy of this for a friend/relative. I will be purchasing her other lecture series on children story telling next.

Historia
Centuries ago, Spanish conquistadors searching for gold and new lands encountered a group of independent city-states in Mesoamerica. Sophisticated beyond the Spaniards' wildest imaginings, these people were the Aztecs, the Maya, and related cultures that shared common traditions of religion, government, the arts, engineering, and trade. In many ways more advanced than European nations, these societies equaled the world's greatest civilizations of their time.
