I waited so long for this book and maybe that's why it felt off. I really didn't enjoy this story as much and found it a bit boring in places. Not sure if I will continue the series.

I must compete with demons, vampires, elves and more who want to claim their place at the future King’s side. I have no interest in this guy, but it doesn’t help that the King-to-be is a gorgeous, brooding fae.

Could have been better

This book had potential of being a great book. It was about going through trials to be with the king. It included different mystical creatures but really, it was boring! The author didn't give you much information building the story, hardly any background details. Also, the narration was not the best. Her accent was kind of annoying. I really wouldn't waste my time with this book 😟

I really loved the characters and the story. If you are looking for a bully romance that is not boring and with some steamy chemistry, this is your book. The narrators did an excellent job, especially for Cole.
