Atlas of the Heart is a guide for examining how and why we respond to the world the way we do. The concept of near enemy helps me be careful that my responses are genuinely what I intend rather than some cheap imitation. I have listened to it twice already and will hopefully listen again and again.

Lots of interesting stories!

Although the audible book is not indexed by Books of the Bible, I found a used paperback copy of this book and with the dates and the story titles, it serves well in helping me keep track of where from the Bible these stories originate. The narration seems a little over-dramatic sometimes, but better that a boring monotone.
I love hearing God’s Word in plain English.

How exciting to hear the book my daughter loved when she was just ten years old!
The afterword by Ms L’Engle’s granddaughter was also very interesting.
