Bad Narrator Change

The new narrator makes so many strange or bad choices and it takes me out of the story several times every chapter. Each time she mispronounces feral (which Maas uses often) I cringe. She makes the characters sound like whiny, not very bright teens. So frustrating that I may not finish the book.

I loved this interesting take on super heroes. It was great to see more modern and contemporary issues being dealt with. This was well written and the narrator was wonderful. We need to see more trans representation like this.

I loved the first book in this series and was excited to read The Secret Benefits of Invisibility. I was not disappointed; the book was fun and sweet and just as good as the first one. I recommend this book for any middle schooler or classroom and my students who have read it really enjoyed it.
