The story was ok. I had to force myself to finish listening. Could have had a better narrator. Book was read too fast. It was like he was racing through this book. I guess some narrators think fast is excitement. I felt rushed as I was listening.
The ending was nicely unexpected. A little hard to follow the story. I think this was due to the narrators rushed feel.
I debated returning the book, but I’ll keep it. I’m not sure who was at fault here, the author or the reader. The author asked too many questions throughout the book. A lot of the questions were implied and did not need to be asked. The premise of the book was acceptable.

Great Story, Great Listen, Great Book

I was on a trip to North Carolina and started to listen to a few different books. Each was okay in its own way. I grew tired of each of them. I had heard bad reviews about this book, sooo I kept skipping over it. I became so bored with all my other choices that I gave in and started listening. I could not stop listening. This book was fantastic! I will be seeing the movie soon. The author did a great job of keeping on track. Some would say he was all over the place, I think they are wrong! You won’t be disappointed if you were an 80’s teen.

Awesome couple!

I watched their shows and loved them. Now, having read their book, I love it too. What a great ministry they are. As I listened to the book, having been a contractor, I teared up. This is what I wanted for my life. I thank God for couples like this. You will not be sorry if you get this book.

Kind of unbelievable

So many times, as I was listening to the story, the story was just so unbelievable. I also feel the ending was unnecessary.

I just finished it and feel very unsatisfied with the whole read. Almost wish I had not spent the time on this book.

The narrator did a decent job, except for one repeat on the same sentence.

Great book! Great narrator!

Loved the book. The narration was great. I listened to it straight through in one day plus a morning. The story was well-rounded. The narrator had great voices. I kept guessing the whodunit and flip back-and-forth between multiple people. In the end my first guess was correct. I would recommend this book to any whodunit lover.
