Historia
God is change. That is the central truth of the Earthseed movement, whose unlikely prophet is 18-year-old Lauren Olamina. The young woman's diary entries tell the story of her life amid a violent 21st-century hell of walled neighborhoods and drug-crazed pyromaniacs - and reveal her evolving Earthseed philosophy. Against a backdrop of horror emerges a message of hope: if we are willing to embrace divine change, we will survive to fulfill our destiny among the stars.

It’s the great paradox of the digital age, what Radha Agrawal calls “community confusion” - the internet connects us to hundreds, thousands, even millions of people, and yet we feel more isolated than ever, with one in four Americans saying they have zero friends to confide in. Where are our people? The answer is found in Belong, a highly energetic guide to discovering where and with whom you fit.

Good Work Being Done
Revisado: 12-01-24
Good and inspiring story, I like a deeper dive from books I read, some of the topics felt quite surface level, we didn’t always feel with the author as she was building this inspiring community, but that’s just personal preference.

Beautifully written, beautifully read
Revisado: 05-01-24
Yes this is an important story- of our time- but more importanly it is delivered excellently. I have never read such beautifully articulated female characters, especially older 'widowed' women. Some passages were so beautiful I am prompted to buy a hard copy of the book so that I can read and reread them.

One of my favourite ever novels. What a haunting and devastating premise: throwing two modern people (well, modern in 1970s) back into the era of slavery. Some devastating scenes which will live with me forever.
Really well and engagingly read and recorded.
