Beautifully written

I have to be honest. I don’t usually love a slow burn. But these characters. They had age and wisdom on their side. They understood they were building up to something amazing and enduring. Both flawed and real. I can’t wait to read more by her. Definitely one of the best I’ve read in a long time. Highly recommend.

This book was pure filth. I don’t consider myself a prude but this was over the top and so far fetched. I fast forwarded as there was very little “story” in between the endless ridiculous sex scenes. Not my cup of tea and far too long.

I like a good curse word now and then. I’m no prude but perhaps I’ll show my age a bit with this review. A change I went through personally when becoming a parent was tapering back how much I swear. Kids don’t need to hear it… they will repeat you endlessly. For his pov I felt he could have “grown up” a bit by cutting that out. Only using it when emphasis was needed, not every other sentence like this was.
I did enjoy the plot and story line but I almost didn’t finish it because the last couple chapters were just chock full of f——-s.
Not her best work. But because the majority of hers are well written I will always await a new book from her!

When I found an eviction notice taped on my apartment door, I had two options: find a comfortable cardboard box to call home, or move in with Tucker Jameson. Seeing that cardboard makes me feel itchy, I chose the latter. Which shouldn't be that big of a deal since Tucker is one of my good friends. And because he's still pining after his ex-girlfriend and I'm trying to finish my nursing degree, there is nothing to worry about in the romance department, making my last semester an easy one to conquer. Boy, was I wrong.

I generally enjoy this authors writing but this one… it just felt repetitive. The foreplay was too much. 18 chapters of build up. I almost quit this one and moved on. The male narrator was not the right fit for this book.

There's nothing tiny about Brock Winthrope. He even roars like a lion when he sees me. I scream back. And after narrowly avoiding a murder scene, we've got trouble. He says he'll fix our reservation blunder since he's the manager (he's not). He thinks I'll smack his resort with the rotten-egg review from hell (I might). I've never seen a man so grumpy groveling his heart out to wow me (it's working). Oh, but it gets better. Brock whisks me away on an amazing “date”, and things get heated.
