The idea of the books seems interesting. I just find the two main characters unrealisticly annoying, and the beginning plot forced and a little weak. I only made it 3hrs in so I’m don’t think I’m a credible source it’s just not for me.

Their was absolutely no progression about anything in this book. I could halfway deal with this whining, depressed, hypocritical, bi-polar, insecure MC when he’s a killing machine the whole book. I’m so disappointed. I really just wanted Eric and his plot armor daughter to die this whole book. Eric has zero character progression since the first book which is where this series should have stopped. He still whining about the same shit for 5 books, Wehhh I don’t want responsibility, let me just start this kingdom, wehhh I don’t want to be king, wehhh I don’t wanna be a father, how about these kids, wehhh I don’t what to do any work, wehhh I don’t want to be bored. This is 39hrs of monologue.
