Revisado: 05-01-25
Her being so needy in the beginning made it a little unbelievable to me. lol and I always question people on their 3 marriage. I’m a one and done kinda girl. After 50 years I’m still in love with my husband but at anytime during those 50 years I wouldn’t have married again.

The annoying narration.
Revisado: 03-08-25
The story line was interesting, although a little unbelievable. But the narration was extremely annoying making it harder to focus on the story.

Good story line
Revisado: 05-22-24
While the story held my interest I felt it just ended abruptly. Maybe if there wasn’t so much back and forth between time periods the end could have been better weaved into the story.

I loved the first 2 books , this one seemed like they were just squeezing out another book. I feel like Clara was very needy and bitter , that was not the Clara from the original book.

Historia
A medical miracle gave TV personality Cat Delaney more than a new heart. It gave her a second chance at life. After leaving Hollywood to host a San Antonio TV show spotlighting children with special needs, Cat fights to gain respect as a newscaster. She meets Alex Pierce, an ex-cop turned crime writer, who regards her as a woman, not as a heart patient. When fatal “accidents” begin killing the other heart recipients, Alex may – or may not – be her most important ally.

Narration
Revisado: 03-06-22
I usually over look any reviews that don’t like the narrator. I find that after immersing my self into the story the flaws in the narration disappear. Sadly that was not the case with this story. I loved the story but found my self consistently feeling like I was in grade school listening to a story with us all taking a turn. Many of the kids would stammer, read and completely skip over the punctuation. I understand this in kids that are nervous reading it should not happen with someone who chooses to read for a living. And if that wasn’t annoying enough him trying to do the voice of the rest of the characters really missed the mark. If it wasn’t for the author giving them all clear personalities it really would have been difficult to know who was speaking.
