Historia
In The Invisible History of the Human Race, Christine Kenneally draws on cutting-edge research to reveal how both historical artifacts and DNA tell us where we come from and where we may be going. While some books explore our genetic inheritance and some popular television shows celebrate ancestry, this is the first book to explore how everything from DNA to emotions to names and the stories that form our lives are all part of our human legacy.

Interesting but sometimes hard to listen to
Revisado: 01-05-17
This book covers a very interesting topic and one I've been interested in for quite some time. I appreciate the authors breadth of information and the expanse with which she treats the subject. It sometimes gets a little in the weeds but for those with specific and technical knowledge I'm sure it is rewarding. My only issue with the audiobook is that the narrator's accent is sometimes difficult to listen to. I'm sure they were going for someone who sounded something like the author but for a non-Australian audience it could be challenging.

Try something different
Revisado: 09-17-16
Most golfers who read to prep for a tournament might choose a swing coach or putting technique read (or listen). This is a great alternative if you aren't looking for technical help before a match, round or tournament. Or even just your Saturday money game. These anecdotes may help you prepare your mind and confidence for that round. You've tried everything else! Try this!
Good stories. Good insight. Easy to relate to your own game.

Master the Mental Game of Putting
Revisado: 01-15-15
Joseph parent continues to deliver on the subject of Zen golf. If you have any issues on the golf green, and who doesn't, this book is a great aid to you. Don't look for technique help but rather look for help on how to think your way a round a green and putting the ball in the hole.

Diana Gabaldon’s magnificent historical saga, begun with Outlander and Dragonfly in Amber, continues with this New York Times bestseller. Set in the intriguing Scotland of 200 years ago, the third installment in the romantic adventures of Jamie and Claire is as compelling as the first.

Epic Voyage
Revisado: 12-30-14
Truly an epic voyage. This book keeps you moving from one location to the next. Even though the events are sometimes larger than life it is an escape worth plug-in oneself into. The narration is excellent as always.
I confess that sometimes the scenarios in which Claire sometimes seems to find herself and then her subsequent brash actions seem to me a little extreme. The ever calm wise and gentle Jamie is always there to correct her missteps and guide her to a new level of understanding.
On to book four.
