I hope Mel knows how many lives she has effected in a positive way. My life has changed, been validated and has become more and more positive every since I started listened to and reading Mel-isms. I’m a new person. Priceless. LM

Historia
Dear Diary.... Bess and I were thrilled to bump into our old buddy, Maggie Rogers, a promising young dancer who is in River Heights to perform a lead role in Sleeping Beauty. But someone's out to get Maggie. First, her phone was tampered with, making her late for rehearsal. Then her face was violently scratched out on the show's posters, and her dressing room was trashed beyond belief. I'm determined to find out who's trying to sabotage my friend's career.

Historia
On paper, Sarah Levy’s life was on track. She was 28, living in New York City, working a great job, and socializing every weekend. But Sarah had a secret: her relationship with alcohol was becoming toxic. And only she could save herself. Drinking Games explores the role alcohol has in our formative years, and what it means to opt out of a culture completely enmeshed in drinking. It’s an examination of what our short-term choices about alcohol do to our long-term selves and how they challenge our ability to be vulnerable enough to discover what we really want in life.

Perfect . I ordered this book on whim to see if I could take that last step with will power to complete the process of putting down the glass. I think it worked. Well written and very thoughtful about not judging. Even yourself. We are all only human. LM

Mere words can not do justice to explain how this book can help humans understand the complexity of emotions. Understanding ones’ own emotions can lead to a life of higher quality and make us all better people . A much needed change for today’s society. Thank you a million times Brené Brown. Laura McCluskey

Historia
Have you ever wondered "Why did I do that?" or "Why can't I just control my behavior?" Others may judge our reactions and think, "What's wrong with that person?" When questioning our emotions, it's easy to place the blame on ourselves; holding ourselves and those around us to an impossible standard. It's time we started asking a different question. Through deeply personal conversations, Oprah Winfrey and renowned brain and trauma expert Dr. Bruce Perry offer a groundbreaking and profound shift from asking “What’s wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?”
