Timeless Tale, Incredible Narration
Revisado: 06-18-21
The narration was the kind of narration you wish every story was read in. Stellar. The tale itself is so beautifully written, capturing and distilling a wonderous story without complicated details or drawn out suspense. Just simply brilliant.

Historia
It started with a college course assignment, then escalated into a dangerous obsession. Eighteen-year-old honor student Jason Moss wrote to men whose body counts had made criminal history: men named Dahmer, Manson, Ramirez, and Gacy. Posing as their ideal victim, Jason seduced them with his words. One by one they wrote him back, showering him with their madness and violent fantasies. Then the game spun out of control. John Wayne Gacy revealed all to Jason - and invited his pen pal to visit him in prison.... It was an offer Jason couldn't turn down. Even if it made him....

Fascinating but flat.

An incredible story. Terrifying and nauseating at times but so important. Dislike the narration, very flat.

Easy listening
Revisado: 06-10-21
Hypnotic narration. I enjoyed it. It's a good story to listen to if you want a crime story that isn't intense. More procedural. End-of-the-work-day easy listening.

Historia
In a faraway land where members of the royal family are named for the virtues they embody, one young boy will become a walking enigma.Born on the wrong side of the sheets, Fitz, son of Chilvary Farseer, is a royal bastard, cast out into the world, friendless and lonely. Only his magical link with animals - the old art known as the Wit - gives him solace and companionship. But the Wit, if used too often, is a perilous magic, and one abhorred by the nobility. So when Fitz is finally adopted into the royal household, he must give up his old ways.

Slow to start but a great story.

I really enjoyed this book. I did find the narration more formal than need be but it suited the language so I went with it. Thank you.
