I really tried to like this story. I've lived most of my life within 15min of Baltimore so I was excited to listen to this. The narrator was ok at best. Although, the Baltimore accent she attempted was horrible. People who grew up in Baltimore don't sound southern at all. She made it sound like they're from the deep south. As for the story itself, I couldn't get through it. I got halfway through chapter 5 and the story seemed to focus on a grey hound dog. Perhaps it gets better? I wouldn't know. If it does, this is a SUPER slow starting story. Good thing it was free.

This was a great story! I listen to audiobooks in my car every morning and afternoon during my commute to and from work (an hour drive) and it was so hard to stop listening. Had me wondering the entire time who the mystery kidnapper/killer was! I was confused twice when the story suddenly went to characters that had nothing to do with the story, but I realized after a bit what it was for. Otherwise, GREAT listen.

First, I absolutely love this narrator. I'm now searching for books narrated by Kyle Tait instead of searching by author. Second, this was a good story. I could actually imagine the violent scenes described in this book because it was so well done. I love a good PI story, and this series for me is the best! LOVED IT! I'm finishing up the Finn stories, and I'm sad about it. I want more!!

I started listening as soon as I downloaded it. I was finished shortly thereafter as I couldn't stop listening. The narrator did well, in my opinion, and the story was great! Who doesn't love a good PI story? I found this is number 3 of the author's FINN stories. I listened to this one first and because this was so good, I'll be looking into the other two. LOVED THIS and I'm sad it's over.
