So after initial annoyance, I really did try to give the author a chance to explain herself. I tried to empathize/sympathize. Then I thought, considering her highly successful career as a comedian, and other countless coveted professional roles that she holds, perhaps there was some irony or humor I was missing. Her perception of her own life is confusing and sad. The longer I listened, the more annoyed I became. So I admittedly only listened to about 25%.

This is a lot of material from her other lectures/books. Obviously she's still lecturing on ACIM, but she tells a lot of the same anecdotes and uses the same examples. I actually still enjoyed the book since this information needs to be on repeat for me, in order for it to sink in...and having it repeat in a different order and combined with some different material, made it listenable.
