Historia
Our brains do their best to help us out, but every so often they can be real assholes - having meltdowns, getting addicted to things, or shutting down completely at the worst possible moments. Your brain knows it's not good to do these things, but it can't help it sometimes - especially if it's obsessing about trauma it can't overcome. That's where this life-changing book comes in. With humor, patience, science, and lots of good-ole swearing, Dr. Faith explains what's going on in your skull, and talks you through the process of retraining your brain to respond appropriately....

For teenagers?
Revisado: 01-04-22
If you want advice from a trained (and probably very competent) psychologist to sound like it’s coming from your teenage best friend then this is great. Some of the content is pretty good though. Just make sure you’re the target audience. I’m not and I’m not even sure how to rate it.

Historia
Why do some people have the courage to make brave decisions that steer them to lead exciting, rewarding, and impactful lives - while others only sit on the sidelines, watching enviously? Entrepreneur and adventurer Franziska Iseli believes that anyone can learn to access their inner courage. Iseli came up with the idea of writing a book about courage while on a multi-year motorbike journey around the world. All of that “helmet time”, allowed her to ponder what so many people ask her, whether in relation to her businesses or to her crazy international adventures.

Wrong listener
Revisado: 11-15-21
The book has useful advice, but the packaging seems to be for someone very young and inexperienced. Could work great for a different audience, I’m definitely not the right listener.
The narrator sounds like he could be great in something else, but this should have been a female narrator since it’s a first person story.
