Everything in this book is amazing
Revisado: 02-03-25
My favorite bishop, my favorite writing. nobody says it like Venerable Fulton Sheen. The analogies he uses to explain the ideas, his reflections are subliminal.

Historia
Over two grim nights in Los Angeles, the young followers of Charles Manson murdered seven people, including the actress Sharon Tate, then eight months pregnant. With no mercy and seemingly no motive, the Manson Family followed their leader's every order. Twenty years ago, when journalist Tom O'Neill was reporting a magazine piece about the murders, he worried there was nothing new to say. Then he unearthed shocking evidence of a cover-up behind the "official" story, including police carelessness, legal misconduct, and potential surveillance by intelligence agents.

How Little Do We Know!
Revisado: 10-21-24
I have so much respect for this journalist and writer! how little do we know about our " real" history and past. how many lies and deception. So much manipulation. How much we will never know. We need to wake up!

Historia
In the battle for our children’s souls, Catholic parents have a key advantage over the world: our children were made for heaven. God willed us to exist now—in a world that celebrates sin as virtue and punishes Christians as “haters”—as part of his merciful plan. Unbreakable helps Catholic parents raise strong children able to resist the soul-endangering temptation to “get along” to “get ahead” in the world.

Historia
It took nearly two millennia for the enemies of the Catholic Church to realize they could not successfully attack the Church from the outside. Indeed, countless nemeses from Nero to Napoleon succeeded only in creating sympathy and martyrs for our Catholic Faith. That all changed in the mid-19th century, when clandestine societies populated by Modernists and Marxists hatched a plan to subvert the Catholic Church from within. Their goal: to change Her doctrine, Her liturgy, and Her mission.

An Eye Opener
Revisado: 04-10-24
A great book that helps one understand the current state of the church. A very detail account of how evil has infiltrated the clergy, the seminarians the laity and the hierarchy of the church. But the best part for me is the hope and light that shines at the end, when the author reminds us of our important role to turn things around and finally be worthy of holy leaders.

Historia
Considered by Joseph Ratzinger devotees as his greatest work on the liturgy, this profound and beautifully written treatment of the "great prayer of the Church" will help listeners to deepen their understanding of the rites of the Church. The cardinal discusses fundamental misunderstandings of the Second Vatican Council's intentions for liturgical renewal, especially about the priest's orientation of prayer to the Father, the placement of the tabernacle in churches, and the posture of kneeling.

Historia
The year is A.D. 299. Diocletian rules the Roman Empire. And the gods have suddenly fallen silent. Seventeen-year-old Jurian doesn’t have time for the gods. He’s trying to hold his family together after his father died in disgrace, and piety, even to the Christ, just isn’t practical. But then, a ruthless enemy targets his family, forcing Jurian to make a choice: will he pursue the glory he’s always wanted, or will he sacrifice everything to protect a faith that was never really his own?

Historia
The Story of a Soul conveys St. Therese of Lisieux's "Little Way" of spiritual childhood - her "elevator" to Heaven, as she called it. This method was approved by Pope Pius XI as a way for all to grow in holiness through unfailing confidence and childlike delight in God's merciful love. Again and again in this audiobook, St. Therese shows us how her "Little Way" of love and trust comes straight from Sacred Scripture.

Thank you little Flower. This book is a powerful testimony of Love, a great lesson for all of us. I cried so many times listening to the book. Indeed The Little Flower is helping people after her passing. This " little way" is accessible to all of us, but not easy. Inspire us Little Flower to at least be able to imitate you a little bit. Thank you St Therese!

Eye Opener!
Revisado: 05-25-23
This book should be mandatory for each modern person, that idolizes socialists and communist ideas today. I was born in Cuba and I know first hand how much damage those ideas bring to the human spirit and to society. However I didn't have an accurate idea how these Gulacs operated in the Soviet Union, despite knowing about them, and experiencing the day to day abuse of the totalitarian regimes in Cuba as well. We are witnessing an inclination to the same radicalization and confusion in our modern world and I must say it is very sad. I pray that many people read this book and lift the fog from their brain, before it is too late for us!

Historia
In this bold, momentous work, the pope, in his first book written as Benedict XVI, seeks to salvage the person of Jesus from recent "popular" depictions and to restore Jesus' true identity as discovered in the Gospels. Through his brilliance as a theologian and his personal conviction as a believer, the pope shares a rich, compelling, flesh-and-blood portrait of Jesus and incites us to encounter, face-to-face, the central figure of the Christian faith.
