I like the stories. I like the characters. I like the writing. The narrator is a little annoying: people under 20yrs all sound like prepuberty adolscents w/whinnie vioces. People from CA tend to sound like 80s valley girls, or stereo type dizy surfer guys. She so busy trying to make the Main sqeeze's voice sound deep & slow, that she fales to emote feelings like anger frustration joy laugh flirting excitment. Which is really sad bcs it leaves him flat & less interesting then what he really is. About the only males she does well is her deseased fiance & ledge.

Narrator sounded like a teenager playing at voices. She actually stumbled over some sentences and you could hear her turning pages. The characters were shallow and interchangeable. The was no plot. And the romance scenes lacked imagination. I'm glad I didn't pay for this!

The voice artist sounds sounds like a hitchhiker and all the females sound breathless. The love interest sounds like an old man who smokes a lot. The story is unique. I'm going to try the next book. Hopefully it'll get better as the writer get further a long in the story and better acquainted with her characters.
