Luckily I didn’t see the other reviews for this book…I like to listen strictly entertaining books while I work and this series delivers…I don’t have to think about any deeper meaning only enjoy the listen the narrator is not the greatest but just tolerable

One host who likes to rage just to hear her self talk and another host who refuses to just tell her to shut up

This whole podcast was a wait for Jasmine to repeatedly rage about a subject she knows very little about give an accurate information and make arguments that are contradictory to her previous arguments in earlier episodes. In the beginning she hated Kate Bishop and at the end it’s Clint Barton because Marvel and Disney did a light hearted show instead of overly dramatic show with characters she considers to be real, ie people of color and poor( I am a black woman and I think her opinions are completely uninformed and not based on anything that is truly real)

Brina is the saint the book keeps telling you she is

The book continually tells us that heroine Brina is perfect, strong, smart and the nicest person you will ever meet. But in truth her character comes off as condescending towards her parents and completely unsympathetic to anything the hero Magnus has to go through. In several situations in which she is a witness to a horrible circumstance that causes the hero to have to leave her or not so nicely ask her to leave instead of realizing that his behaviors due to the situation or in the stress of family situation he is dealing with…the only thing she can consider is that this means he’s a mean, nasty individual and not praising her. So she simply ends the relationship instead of at least confronting him about his behavior and letting him know that this is not acceptable no matter what he’s going through find a way to help him … Then becoming upset when he does not contact her after she ended the relationship. I feel that the character is too immature and self absorbed to be considered a saint.

Definitely listening to this author again

This was exactly the kind of story I like. I get a little tired of extremely strong women who love to fight back over every little thing. There is nothing wrong with being timid and shy and I wish more authors would show that there are many dimensions to a woman’s character. I didn’t Care for her best friend who went m.i.a whenever the Olivia was under attack and no closure to hero relationship with his father but other then that it was perfect .

This duet book series was Peyton Place on crack and not in a good way

The story was not developed at all it a lot of bombshells dropped and no real story behind it and the h/H were self absorbed idiots stuck in high school.. the narrator did not even attempt to distinguish voices everyone sounded alike so you never knew who was speaking....I listen to both out of morbid curiosity on how it all ended.

I love Rider

First off I would like to point out that there was a glitch with the recording and chapter 45 was played to soon and is then repeated in its correct place as chapter 47 or 48. With this being said I had already read this novel and couldn't wait for the audio and was not disappointed. The epilogues alone are reason enough to enjoy but Rider and Jo's romance is beautiful and funny. I can't wait for Gavin's sorry and how this series will end.

The entire series has been fantastic. Cat is a wonderful narrator. Knox and Harper are perfect together while being complete opposites. I hope the next has more about them but starts the stories for Harper's friends and Knox's sentinels, it will probably be Tanner and Daven first or Chloe and Keenan, whichever one it is I will be happy when its released.

Funny, Sweet and Sexy

I am hoping that the rest of this series will be coming to audible soon. I enjoyed it so much I have listened to it twice and started reading the following books. Garviel was hilarious. This well worth the credit or payment .

The voice of Jotham was over the top in places

I enjoyed this story it is also introduction to other characters in future books however. the voice of Jotham was way over the top especially during the sex scenes he was basically yelling everything and it made laugh instead generating the heat the author intended. but overall a good story.
