Historia
Five years ago Corin Cadence's brother entered the Serpent Spire - a colossal tower with ever-shifting rooms, traps, and monsters. Those who survive the spire's trials return home with an attunement: a mark granting the bearer magical powers. According to legend, those few who reach the top of the tower will be granted a boon by the spire's goddess. He never returned. Now it's Corin's turn. He's headed to the top floor, on a mission to meet the goddess.

Overall, great read with only a few inconveniences
Revisado: 03-15-25
As mentioned previously, this is a pretty nice fantasy novel, that said, my one and only issue with this book is the situation with Sara’s final summons. It just seemed like too much of a deus ex machina sort of situation, and it screws with the power scaling of the series. That aside, I really enjoyed how detailed the book is and the overall world building.

Historia
Zalia Taori is well equipped for life in the remote forest valley she calls home. But while tracking a deer through her snowy stomping grounds—armed with her hunting bow and excellent knowledge of wild plants—she comes across a warp in the fabric of reality. She suddenly finds herself in an unfamiliar land where she must learn to survive as both predator and prey. As Zalia explores this forbidding new terrain, she encounters peculiar herbs, terrifying monsters, mysterious rituals, and some unexpected friends.

Unwarranted leaps, and poorly executed plot twists
Revisado: 03-09-25
The book sometimes makes unwarranted leaps such as the assumption that shade has to be brainwashed, and plot twists that aren’t for shadowed at all like the reveal of the main antagonist.

Historia
The Dream Ceremony is the moment every young person accepts a Lord's patronage in the form of a Legacy. For some, this simply means they become better farmers or axe-wielders. For others, it marks the beginning of a long journey. On his nineteenth birthday, Leland Silver was offered a portion of a Lord's power. The only issue… it was from a Lord no one had ever heard of—the Lord of Curses. Teamed with his two best friends—a Legacy of the Berserker and a Legacy of the Chameleon—Leland must learn quickly if he wishes to get anywhere in this newly opened world.

Plot holes
Revisado: 03-08-25
Too many plot holes, and inconsistencies. Midway through the book princess Sybil witnesses her older sister murder a man. This was done expressly to toughen her up. That said, later on she sees a monster die and has a quasi existential crisis because it was the first thing she saw die. While some of these inconsistencies are annoying, I really like the magic system and the world building in this volume. The booklore is pretty good, but I just think next time the volume should spend more time marinating in the editing phase.

Historia
A certain college girl who's loved books ever since she was a little girl dies in an accident and is reborn in another world she knows nothing about. She is now Myne, the sickly five-year-old daughter of a poor soldier. To make things worse, the world she's been reborn in has a very low literacy rate and books mostly don't exist. She'd have to pay an enormous amount of money to buy one.

Isekai Realism
Revisado: 03-15-24
This is a thoughtful addition to the isekai genre !!!! It’s adorable and amazing. The way the author meticulously describes his world grounds in an air of realism, gives the reader a sense of authenticity. The authors world building is enhanced by the grittiness of medieval culture, which complements the fact that the main protagonist goals are not easily achievable due to complications that are usually overlooked in other works of fiction.
