Historia
Jonathan Edwards, often referred to as America’s greatest theologian, lived from 1703-1758. He was wonderfully used by God in the American Great Awakening. This sermon is taken from Revelation 5:5-6, which pictures Jesus Christ as both a Lion and a Lamb. Using this dual imagery of the Lion and the Lamb, Edwards magnified Christ in his majestic person as both God and man. For the Christian, this sermon is pure exaltation, pure enjoyment, and pure worship.

Stilted Reading
Revisado: 03-21-23
The reader’s diction was excellent. But the cadence was distracting. It made for a difficult listen.

Poor Narration
Revisado: 12-18-17
Any additional comments?
The narrator sounded like an amateur. I was not familiar with his voice, and thought he might have been a friend of the authors, but learned that he had done other work in this field.
He laughed at times during his reading, and his knowledge of the vocabulary and pronunciation were mismatched with this work.

Historia
There have been many books - on a large and small scale - about Steve Jobs, one of the most famous CEOs in history. But this book is different from all the others. Becoming Steve Jobs takes on and breaks down the existing myth and stereotypes about Steve Jobs. The conventional, one-dimensional view of Jobs is that he was half genius, half jerk from youth, an irascible and selfish leader who slighted friends and family alike.

Warts and All (with an Emphasis on the All)
Revisado: 06-08-15
This was a great telling of the complexity of Steve Jobs: failures, feats, and feelings. The authors showed the complexity and humanity of Steve Jobs in a way that the old driven, arrogant jerk narrative fails to capture, complete with fascinating insights to other Silicon Valley founders and friends.
