Historia
In the centuries since his return from Commorragh, Fabius Bile has distanced himself from the affairs of friend and foe, content only to oversee the cruel evolution of his New Men. But when his creations are threatened by the monstrous haemonculi of the Thirteen Scars, the Manflayer is forced to seek out new allies and old enemies alike in an effort to preserve all that he has built. Homo Novus must survive...even if Fabius Bile must die to ensure it.

Amazing end to the trilogy.

It’s nice that they finally revealed where fulgrim has been and how Fabius’s story has come full circle. Loved the book and how it applies to the cannon overall. Definitely worth listening to.

Historia
The war for the fate of mankind blazes on. Though the outer defences have fallen, the walls of the Palace itself remain inviolate as Rogal Dorn, the Praetorian of Terra himself, uses every known stratagem and ploy to keep Horus' vast armies at bay. In Perturabo, the Traitor siegebreaker, Dorn faces an adversary worthy of his skill. A terrible, grinding attrition ensues. The crucial battle for the Lion's Gate spaceport is at the heart of this conflict. With it in their possession, the Traitors can land their most devastating weapons on Terran soil. Dorn knows it must not fall.

Not the best.
Revisado: 05-09-20
Honestly not the best. I mean I knew a book about the imperial fists and iron warriors was going to be boring but when they are the most exciting parts... ugh. A huge part of the book is about a train ride that ends in a, what one could argue, anticlimactic end. I mean there were touches of excitement but otherwise not great aside from voice acting. Next time more astartes, Primarchs, battles, etc. and less religious cults, and assembly line workers turned soldier having a train ride.

Great end to the 3 book trilogy.
Revisado: 02-28-20
Loved the trilogy and this one wraps it all up nicely. I would love to see a fourth one but all things come to an end. Really amazing insight to the night lords legion and shows the inner culture of their warriors and their tactics. Overall it was worth the listen.

Historia
Of all the Emperor’s immortal sons, the primarchs, it is Konrad Curze whose legend is the darkest. Born in the shadows of Nostramo, a world of murderers, thieves and worse, is it any surprise that he became the figure of dread known only as the Night Haunter? Heed now the tragic story of the creature Konrad Curze, master of the Night Lords Legion, of how he became a monster and a weapon of terror. He who once served the Imperium saw the truth in a maddening universe and the hypocrisy of a loveless father, and embraced the only thing that made any sense - darkness.

Wow. This story makes Angron look normal.
Revisado: 08-24-19
Curze is a complicated character who is a victim as well as a perpetrator. It’s a weird paradoxical mix. I want to feel bad for him but... well I’m not going to spoil anything. This makes me want to go buy the physical book just to own.

Historia
As the Emperor travels the galaxy at the head of his Great Crusade, few events are as important as rediscovering his scattered sons, the Primarchs, and bestowing them as the masters of their Legions. United, a Legion becomes a reflection of its Primarch, both in his strengths and his flaws. For the Twelfth Legion, once the War Hounds and now the World Eaters, the line between strength and flaw is almost impossible to separate.

Great story that really makes you realize angron was victimized from the start. Really shows him in a different light, granted still blood soaked. Just wish it was a little longer.

Historia
The Cadian Gate is broken, and the Imperium is riven in two. The might of the Traitor Legions, kept shackled for millennia behind walls of iron and sorcery, has been unleashed on a darkening galaxy. Among those seeking vengeance on the Corpse Emperor’s faltering realm are the Death Guard, once proud crusaders of the Legiones Astartes, now debased creatures of terror and contagion.

Just like the death guard...
Revisado: 05-08-19
Just as the above line, slow in the beginning but amps up as they close the gap. I would say a few characters really weren’t important but it definitely had its moments. Solid work that would make grandfather Nurgle proud.

Historia
After a long and gruelling conflict, the traitors at last close upon Terra. But time is dwindling for an attack. Both Guilliman and the Lion are returning with all haste, and their armies could turn the tide. The hosts of the Warmaster must unite, for only then can they attack the Throneworld itself. While Mortarion is sent on ahead as the fleet’s vanguard, it falls to Lorgar and Perturabo to marshal Fulgrim and Angron, both now elevated to daemonhood and perhaps beyond even the will of the Warmaster to command.

Good with the bad.
Revisado: 05-05-19
I loved the story on bringing back Angron and Fulgrim, but didn’t like how the told it. The book jumps between characters... too much, and it was quite a few characters. Also I couldn’t get past some of the voices; the voice actor used the same voice for quite a few. Idk maybe I’m nit picking on that one. Solid story but a little all over on telling it.
