Moving story
Revisado: 01-29-24
We absolutely must get the word out about the idea that a large portion of the non-speaking autistic population could be helped by learning to use spelling boards! It is a matter of doing what could revolutionize life for a huge population that is currently misunderstood and underestimated!

Darkness Reveals Light’s Brilliance
Revisado: 01-07-24
Erin Phillips weaves an imaginative, inspiring fairy tale that fills in the heartache, drama, and triumph of the biblical story of Esther.
Philipps balances hope and grief of this life in a way that can be a comfort for those trapped in the chains of disappointed dreams and the effects of sin.
Without an unrealistic, shallow “happily ever after” the protagonist, Philips’ tale manages to leaves the reader with a deeper faith.
The sad realism makes this story not appropriate for young teens. I would recommend for a reader with the maturity to also guard their heart from desiring romance before the right time.

Written for young people; enjoyable for all ages
Revisado: 08-29-23
My 11-yr-old daughter and I are both enjoying the series. Nice vocabulary, engaging story line, fun dialogue, well-developed characters. Qualities of family, friendship, courage are extolled. Just a few choice words at intense moment said by the characters, but nothing my daughter hasn’t already learned are inappropriate in casual conversation.

Edifying and entertaining
Revisado: 04-11-22
I thoroughly enjoyed the character development, the beauty of the setting, the historical details, the delightful romance, and the pace of all the descriptions. I also appreciate the beautiful lessons the characters learned along the way.
An entertaining and worthwhile book. Good job, Deanne Gist! This is my second book of yours I’ve read this month. I am looking forward to reading more.
