Historia
Most people know Dave Ramsey as the guy who did stupid with a lot of zeros on the end. He made his first million in his twenties—the wrong way—and then went bankrupt. That’s when he set out to learn what God had to say about managing money and building wealth. As a result, Dave developed the Ramsey Baby Steps and became a millionaire again—this time the right way. After three decades of guiding millions of others through the plan, the evidence is undeniable: the Baby Steps not only work for everyone, but they’re proven to work fast.

There’s a time and a place.
Revisado: 10-19-22
I bought this book on to see if there were any tips to manage my personal finances better. Instead it was 90% him preaching and reading scriptures then in the end instead of outlining his “baby steps” He says a prayer to accept Jesus in your heart. If he wanted to put out a prayer/scripture book that’s fine but not what I was expecting or wanting from a financial book.

This book is a waste of time
Revisado: 10-13-22
I bought this book because I already got the X3 system and I wanted more info besides all the videos he gives you. I learned a little about how over doing cardio increases cortisol but most of the book is his eating habits and what he thinks is healthiest (carnivore plus fasting). He offers some conflicting advice about fats and studies that go against what he says only because “if you fast, you should be fine” in his opinion. I like the X3 system but I could have easily skipped this book. His nutrition advice is pretty bad.

Not for me
Revisado: 02-26-22
I didn’t make it very far in this book and I’m going to stop listening to it. He starts out by hating on chiropractors and telling you to ignore your check engine light because it’s just not important. Clearly I can see that this book is not for me and the authors point of view is a little silly and off-base.

Good book. It convinced me.
Revisado: 02-26-22
This book is pretty good, they did convince me to go ahead and begin using positive self talk. They did push their app pretty hard which cost $20 a month just for a whole bunch of affirmations I’m not sure if that’s really worth it.

Very disappointing
Revisado: 02-25-22
I was recommended this book by someone and I thought it would be a lot better. The story was just ok but it was very cheesy and a lot of the principles were not very good. They say to do things like write a book which is fine but to make money writing it takes more than a book published.

Historia
Our brains do their best to help us out, but every so often they can be real assholes - having meltdowns, getting addicted to things, or shutting down completely at the worst possible moments. Your brain knows it's not good to do these things, but it can't help it sometimes - especially if it's obsessing about trauma it can't overcome. That's where this life-changing book comes in. With humor, patience, science, and lots of good-ole swearing, Dr. Faith explains what's going on in your skull, and talks you through the process of retraining your brain to respond appropriately....

Some good info can’t get passed the delivery
Revisado: 11-27-21
I guess the title says it all. This book is full of foul language and casual talk. It wouldn’t be a huge problem except for the fact that it just sounds so forced. Some of the information is actually good but the whole delivery of it is just so poor I don’t want to keep listening to it and I’m only about 20 mins in. I get that the author was trying a new approach to sell but this is just poorly done. This is a good example as to why that language shouldn’t be in books because it just takes away from the whole book.

Historia
We’ve been sold a lie: The world tells us that pain is inevitable, that our bodies must break down as we age, and that there’s nothing we can do about it. Here’s the shocking truth: The vast majority of the pain that plagues our aging bodies is self-inflicted. It’s caused by the way we use our bodies every day - the way we sit, the way we stand, the way we walk and run. But with simple exercises, anybody can learn to heal their chronic musculoskeletal pain, and prevent future pain, injury, and joint problems from developing.

I bought the clinical somatics full body course from her and saw no improvement. So I bought her book hoping to get more details and improve my practice. Although I learned a lot and how great it is the conclusion is to just practice clinical somatics. I hope I’m not wasting my time I’ll continue to practice but so far no results.

Historia
Animals are the direct product of their environment. They reactively evolve over time based on external circumstances. The process of their evolution is slow and random. Human beings are the indirect product of their environment. Although the environment is the medium through which humans adapt and evolve, our choices determine our environments. This is the fundamental difference. We get to decide the course and intensity of our personal evolution by intelligently designing our environments.
