Cat torture & murder is not entertainment

I enjoyed book 1, despite the extremely annoying mother character. Book 2 was already grating on me with the constant reference to people as “it”. We get “it”. Then when JWC had a green light to take out a horrible character he instead tortures and murders a cat. Just appalling. Done with Wells, returning the book.

Least favorite book in my entire time on Audible. So f-ing annoying. Just indefensibly stupid & selfish behavior and decisions by Claire. I found myself constantly grumbling. No idea why so many people love it.
It just gets worse and worse.

Reminds me of Bobiverse.
I often use audible as a sleep-aid, helping my brain to get focused and allowing me to drift off. Many books result in a really long listen period to get through as a result. Not this one, I kept wanting to hear more about the trials and tribulations of Grace & Rocky.
