Certainly worth the credit

The story was very interesting and held my attention. I thought it segued well with the previous series. The ending was fantastic. I would love to see a follow on book to continue the series. Don’t believe the naysayers, if you liked the previous books you’ll like this one.

Great origin story.

An excellent book explaining the origin of the Krieg. The backstory intertwines with a current thread which eventually ties both stories together. It’s a great stand alone read(listen), as well as a thoughtful, interesting story of why the Krieg do what they do.
Its an easy listen in which you will find new details each time you listen to it.

Good story and narration.

This is the second time I’ve listened to this series and it’s as good now as it was then. Easy to follow story line with a good build up .
It was really enjoyable and I would certainly recommend them. JJ

Good continuation of the series

Good story line that continues to build on the previous books. The characters are interesting and their backstories are slowly but carefully filled out. It’s a good listen and worth the credit. Very enjoyable. JJ

Good story, great narration

Really good story that held my attention throughout. The author wove in so many kernels of questions that it begs for a second book.
It was worth a credit, to me and I’ll probably buy the next one.

I thought this was a good story with a lot of potential to branch out. As always, RC did a great job narrating.

Good story, some politics at end.

Second book by this author. Really enjoyed the story and interactions between the units.
Spoiler alert, kinda.
The politics injected into the last of the book, though referring to one President, can go for the current or even past President. It only affected the story, if the reader allows it. Good story; good story line. And R.C. Bray: A pipe-hitter in his own right.
I’d recommend it.

Doesn’t follow

There are too many books (5) between this and Sabbat Martyr. Too much of the story was lost. I had really enjoyed the series until now. Not sure about purchasing the others in this series.
Also, think Mr. Macpherson overdid the voices. Mr. Longworth captured the spirit of the story without the distracting voice variations.
