I purchased this audio.
This is a new to me author. This book hooked me from the start. Heather Costa and Jeffrey Kafer did a wonderful job narrating this book. I have listened to several books narrated by Jeffrey and as always, his narration had me captivated. Heather Costa also had a way with narration also. I did not want to press pause on this one.
A girl who was being raised by wolves and was not treated well. Kira thought of herself as a no one always in the shadows. One-night under the full moon changes everything and her world is turned upside down. Kira is a true alpha and finds she has not one mate but three. OH, my I love two of her mates the other one I really feel bad for. He has so much anger built up since he was a kid. His true mate pull and his hatred working against one another. The chemistry between Kira and her mates made the sexiest and steamy scenes. Milo is my favorite mate always having Kira’s back. Seth grew on me as the book went on. He was not perfect in the beginning but showed that he was devoted to supporting Kira. Then there is Jamison he harbors so much anger for Kira since the death of his mother. Just when I thought he was going to come around he proved the darkness in him was hanging on tight.
Kira was amazing when she started standing up for herself and taking charge, I was cheering her on she would be an amazing Alpha. Even though she was the center of the prophecy she had to overcome all the prenotions of her by the pack. She had to overcome many obstacles to prove her status and even this the cards were stacked against her. The ending of this one had me grabbing the next book. I need to know what happens next.

I purchased the audiobook and ebook combo from amazon.
Michael Prince and Rin McCabe are new to me authors and after listening to roadkill I will definitely be diving into more of this series. Tanner DeBruyne did a wonderful job of keeping me engaged in the story.
Josh Luke AKA red is on his way back home to help his mama out after the death of his father. he decided to take the deserted road and good thing for Nova he did. She was left in a ditch to die. Red was able to fix her up and in the process found he only wanted to protect her more.
Nova is struggling she cannot remember anything not even her name so in true MC fashion she earned her nickname roadkill. Roadkill has to decide if she will act on her thoughts of running far from the MC or if she will stay and let red in her heart.
Red is going back home and starting his own mc. Will trying to protect roadkill, forming a new chapter and dealing with the stress accompanying being the president proved too much for red. Red and roadkill go through so much on their journey but it makes them stronger and shows them if they can make it or not.
I'm excited to see where this series will go. Most MCS are already established this one we get to see evolve from the beginning. There are so many characters I am interested in seeing what happens to them and see who will stay, who will go and who will join in the future. I have my eye on one guy right now hack.

I enjoy listening Theresa Plummer narrating this story. She does a great job with both male and female voices. I was able to tell which female and which male was talking. She really kept me engaged in the story.
Tijan has an amazing way of writing a story that guts you and puts you back together along the way.
Mackenzie finds her twin on the bathroom floor in a pool of her own blood. Her other half is gone and Mackenzie finds herself in a new house, a new town and currently a stranger’s home trying to deal with the biggest loss of her life. She somehow manages to find her way into the wrong room and wrong bed, Ryan’s bed, but to her this bed feels so right.
Mackenzie is trying to deal with the loss of her twin but she hears her and sees her and the only comfort she has is when Ryan is near. She is trying to get through everything day by day and dealing with a new school. I love that she still has spunk and does not back down when mean girls are around.
Ryan is drawn to Mac from the beginning he truly gets what she is going through and helps her the best he can. The chemistry between these two is explosive. Love how understanding, compassionate and loving he is toward Mac.
I like that we were placed in Mac’s head and learned so much about both her and Willow. Mac is strong female although she may not always believe it or fee it she is. I loved her spirit and tenacity. Takes a lot to over come what she did and be able to still standup for herself.
Very well written book for such a hard subject of teen suicide to tackle .

I received this audio from the author for an honest review.

I enjoyed listening to this book. Andi Arndt is one of my favorite narrators and she did a great job with the audio. Her transitions between characters was seamless. Andi did well with keeping me engaged in the story.
I was so excited when I realized this was about Leif, Ed’s brother from Repeat. I enjoyed seeing glimps of Ed and Clem also. Ok back to Leif and Anna.
Anna wakes up after being in a coma to find her world has been turned upside down. Not only has time slipped by but her hubby was so devastated she was in a coma he slept with her best friend. Yep what a great husband and friend.
Leif was in the same accident that put Anna in a coma. We learn he not only helped her after the accident but checked on her and read to her at the hospital.
Leif does not want to get involved with anyone after he had his heart shedded but Anna calls to him.
I enjoyed seeing these two together and watching Leif try to prove not all men are self centered asses and Anna proving not all women will take his heart and shred it to pieces. I like their banter and chemistry. Leif may seem to the the bad boy but he was so loving toward Anna and his humor was entertaining.

I received a copy of this book from the authors for an honest review.

I have to start by saying I don’t read many zombie books but Brandy and Mary wrote it so I could not pass it up. Well and my BFF said I had to read it because it was amazing. Brandy and Mary did a great job and I enjoyed it so much. Em and her guys were amazing. Em is a kickass zombie slayer. She knows how to weld those swards of hers. She even has a thing or two to say to all these guys that end up invading her area. She does not need these men in her way or her space but they are persistent and refuse to let her do this on her own.

The Guys are great themselves. Each so different but get along like brothers well except Sam they all take a bit to warm up to him and trust him. Kemp what can I say he is such a roading man but when its just him and Em man do they steam things up even if its not in the shower. I like all the guys not sure I could choose just one.

If an apocalypse were to ever hit, I want to be with Em no way I could survive on my own. I love how Em could hold her ground no matter who it was she was up against. She was strong enough to make it through seeing what happened to her mother, sister and friend. When the swards needed to come out she never thought twice about it. The trust and loyalty Em and these guys have for one another was incredible.

This was fast pace, heart stopping, and packed with a ton of action. I found my heart racing and in a state of panic so many times during this book. I rally hope this story continues Mary and Brandy have me hooked on Em and her guys. I NEED more of Em and her guys.

Kelly Huston ams Jeffrey Kafer did a wonderful job keeping me in the moment of the story.

This starts off with a kick ass heroine (got to love them, no wussy whinnying chick here) named Fallon riding her motorcycle like a bat out of hell. She had the lights off and has the power to silence the motor so she can’t be seen or heard. One problem, Brody is in wolf form running from vampires and runs right into Fallon. The run in damages her bike and hurts him in the process. Fallon manages to save his butt from the vampires. Brody tries to do right by her and tells her he will fix her bike. Fallon’s best friend, Jesse, happens to live in the same town as Brody and convinces her to stay at his place in an apartment above his garage and arranges a job for Fallon. Fallon takes a job as a tattoo artist to ward all the wolves in the pack at Brody’s brother shop since she doesn’t have wheels at the moment. There is a jealous girl that wants Brody and past acquaintances of Fallon show up to cause HUGE trouble for Brody, Fallon and the pack.
I loved this book. How could you not when you have a Kick ass heroine, Fallon, who can hold her own and doesn’t take crap from anyone, a boyfriend, Brody, who is head over heels for Fallon, the best friend, Jessie, who gets to see things as they occur or seconds before, to the big fight scene. This book had me from the moment it started until it ended.

I loved watching Slater and Jess try to deny what was meant to be, fight against it, and ultimately loose. I enjoyed watching the friendship between Jess and Brody grow (especially since I read In Too Deep first and know what happens). Again, I just love a strong woman in a story, who stands up for herself no matter who it is in front of her (no whinnying chick in this book either).
This is a great prequel to introduce you to all the individuals in the series and the world of wolves, vampires, witches, druids, Nephalim, and more. I am looking forward to more of this series and to find out who the next book is about.

What did you love best about Nights Embrace?

Brandy L. Rivers is one of my favorite authors. She writes females that are strong and full of spunk and alpha males that are overprotective and in tune with their females. This new series is no different. The way Brandy does the world building in her books is amazing she does not lay it all out in the beginning but gives you small pieces as you need it. She also does a fabulous job with the action scenes I enjoyed this series as much as I have her Others of Edenton Series

What did you like best about this story?

Fallon is my favorite Female. However, Roxana is a close second. I loved her kickbutt take no crap attitude but accepts help when she needs it. Trevor is the Alpha male that will protect what is his and I love that he pampers Roxy. One of my favorite things is that the characters from Others of Edenton are also in this book. So we get to see Fallon, Brody and a few others which I loved being able to see them all again. I also enjoyed getting to know Mikey, Joey, Sorcha, Siobhan, Shane, Fiona and Nick and I find myself wanting to know more about them.

What does John Lane bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator was fabulous he did a great gob with the accents and I could tell which characters were speaking with the different voices and accents he used.
