Classic! Though missing some parts

Such a great book and one of the best sci-fi novels ever written. However this audio version seems to be missing some parts. For example when I first read the novel it was in the 90s and I remember so much more especially regarding Elle’s childhood and a lot more about Haden. Maybe I’m misremembering but it seems like there was more than in this version. Otherwise it’s still amazing and highly recommended.

I don’t know some exciting parts for the most part Very slow, and the whole witches theme for a Star Wars book? Maybe I just don’t understand sci-fi these days however regardless this book wasn’t that great nothing new about the Star Wars universe except for Jedi who cast spells. I stopped listening with two hours to go just couldn’t take it anymore.

Wow!! I listen to a lot of audible books and this one left me speechless and in tears. Of the hundreds of audiobooks I’ve listened to this one is the most epic adventure I’ve been on thanks Hugh ❤️ Please keep writing. If you thought The Martian or Ready Player One or anything like those books were good this trilogy is worthy!

I loved the tv series so much I got the book and surprised how much difference I thought there was until realized there’s not as much as I thought. Although the difference in Simms is night & day. Any way you look at it the book always beats the show and the show was amazing so you can only imagine how well this book is!! Thanks Hugh. Looking forward to Shift!!

Always perfect. Mr Rail Road thank you. Only one complaint is that the voices changed from the other books, for example patchface was so much better before, now kind of bland but that’s ok it’s still an amazing listen.

It brings everything from religion to science to philosophy to basic human emotion. Whether or not you agree with the book it will nonetheless open your eyes to a beautiful side of human existence.
