Historia
Sometimes it happens in a flash: a text, a blowup, a breakup. Other times, relationships simply fade: you and your spouse rarely make eye contact, you learn the friend you trusted is gossiping about you, the child who once held your hand is now an angry teenager. You go over and over conflicts in your mind and wonder How can I fix this? Or Is fixing this even possible? Or Why did I handle it that way?

Historia
Few subjects are as compelling-or as endlessly variable-as love and marriage. The Bible is filled with references to husbands and wives, from the story of Adam and Eve to advice in the New Testament, each open to interpretation. In The Meaning of Marriage, Timothy Keller, pastor of New York's Redeemer Presbyterian Church and bestselling author of The Reason for God, uses the scriptures as his guide to show readers what God's call to marriage is, and why this is such a powerful call.

Historia
An historic literary event: the publication of a newly discovered novel, the earliest known work from Harper Lee, the beloved, best-selling author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning classic To Kill a Mockingbird. Originally written in the mid-1950s, Go Set a Watchman was the novel Harper Lee first submitted to her publishers before To Kill a Mockingbird. Assumed to have been lost, the manuscript was discovered in late 2014.

Exceeded my expectations!
Revisado: 09-14-15
I heard how you different this book was from, "To Kill a Mockingbird" and I loved that book. I was nervous I was going to be disappointed. The characters were true to form. The storyline was based on a difficult truth, but extremely well presented. There is some beautiful dialogue that gives much to think about to any generation.

True Religion in Action
Revisado: 06-10-12
Would you consider the audio edition of Tattoos on the Heart to be better than the print version?
I enjoyed the audio version. It was especially nice hearing it read in the author's voice.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tattoos on the Heart?
The real life stories of young gang members trying to break free to live a more promising fulfilling life. Some of the stories that didn't always end up the way you would like drove home the point that real life isn't always as "perfect" as we would like, but with God, all things work together for good.
What about Gregory Boyle’s performance did you like?
I liked hearing him read the story in his own words which were sometimes colorful. He relates to these young adults in a way they understand.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Enriching the lives of the marginalized through unconditional love.

Historia
A thriller unlike any you have ever heard. A love strong enough to bring a tremor to your bones. A sacrifice powerful enough to make heaven weep. At the close of World War II, a shell-shocked soldier, Jan Jovic, was forced to inflict a game of life and death on a peaceful Bosnian community. In a few short hours, this young man was confronted by more love--and hate--than most experience in a lifetime. Years later, Jan has become a world-renown writer with widespread influence in the United States....

Ted Dekker Delivers Again!
Revisado: 06-04-12
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes. It was frustrating to watch the character continuously travel back to her dark places.
Who was the most memorable character of When Heaven Weeps and why?
Helen, because it was ultimately her story.
Any additional comments?
Ted Dekker always creates interesting characters who have identifiable struggles. There is always a strong message that shares the love of God. I always finish with a greater sense of God when I read one of his books. I enjoyed this trilogy.

Gnarly!!
Revisado: 06-04-12
Where does The Priest's Graveyard rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This was a difficult read because it was so dark, but in the end, I really liked it. It had a strong message.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The priest, Danny.
Which scene was your favorite?
The end when they understood the essence of God's love.
Any additional comments?
This book reminded me of the TV series Dexter. It was very dark. In the end I loved it. The journey profoundly drove home the essence that we are not to judge others or in the process we become sinful ourselves. We are to LOVE.
