Historia
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Great Read
Revisado: 10-23-19
As always, Malcolm Gladwell never fails to deliver an amazing audio experience. I've read numerous of his books before and have always been a huge fan. This was my first Audio experience with his work and I must say I am very impressed and in love this the style of the book. It is very reminiscent of his Podcast Revisionist History (which I also recommend). The book is certainly worth your time.

Historia
Carolyn V. Hamilton arrives in Las Vegas in 1973 to join a circus. When that job doesn't work out, she opens the new MGM Grand Hotel/Casino as a cocktail waitress. This turns out to be more involved than a nice Lutheran girl from Seattle would think: parties, stealing, sex, drinking, and drugs are the main entertainment for a bored crew of casino employees. Some waitresses date culinary union bosses, who have their own high drama of payoffs, fights for control, fire bombings and an 18-day culinary union strike.

Great Story and Easy Read!

I was unsure of the book at first but it quickly grew on me. The narrator does a great job with the pacing and the story is fascinating. I finished it in two sessions.
