Entire series is good

I really enjoy the Sparks and Bainbridge mysteries. The lead characters are interesting and go through some interesting growth on their parts. The mysteries are good. The narrator does a good job. I will probably listen to the whole series again.

Is the author's name Chanel Cliche?

So poorly written. If the author uses one phrase to describe something, she uses it over and over and over. So many of the thoughts and reactions of the characters are cliches; descriptions of the environment are also cliches. The story is told in first person and in present tense, so there's a lot of "telling" the reader vs. "showing" the reader.
Uggh. So not enjoyable at all.
