Historia
Temperance Brennan, forensic anthropologist for both North Carolina and Quebec, has come from Charlotte to Montreal during the bleak days of December to testify as an expert witness at a murder trial. She should be going over her notes, but instead she's digging in the basement of a pizza parlor. Not fun. Freezing cold. Crawling rats. And now, the skeletonized remains of three young women. How did they get there? When did they die?

I must agree with

Andrew...
I have never read this author, but found the read overly-lengthy and ponderous. Perhaps those who are fans of this genre are more knowledgable than the author might give credit to. The droning on and on about the forensics of an autopsy - are tedious. Still - enjoyed the book, overall.

How distracting
Revisado: 05-19-04
I loved the premise of this book, as well as the execution. However, from minute one I thought the narrator was drunk or on drugs. He swallowed and slurred words, had a tone that was, at times, entirely too low to hear - and emphasized the wrong words on many occasions. I'm looking forward to my 2nd Robert B. Parker - read by someone else.
