Historia
From the moment He arrived on the scene, Jesus posed a threat to the unjust, a threat to the oppressors, and a threat to every semblance of authority wielded by the kingdom of darkness. He invaded the world with love for the forgotten, hope for the hopeless, and freedom for the bound. His ideas were disruptive, subversive, and scandalous to the world around Him.

The encouragementI needed today

“What our faith needs is not adrenaline but cardio.” - KB
The books Crazy Love and Radical has a tremendous impact on my faith. Not only their call to live the faith but also their godly encouragement were used by God to help me have the obedience to walk away from engineering and live the life that I do now. I don’t know if I have read a book that has called me to this level of obedience while at the same time encouraging my soul as those two books until reading Dangerous Jesus by KB . Get this one. Also I believe this is something that teens and young adults would love.

Historia
"Lent is inescapably about repenting." Every year, the church invites us into a season of repentance and fasting in preparation for Holy Week. It's an invitation to turn away from our sins and toward the mercy and grace of Christ. Often, though, we experience the Lenten fast as either a mindless ritual or self-improvement program. In this short volume, priest and scholar Esau McCaulley introduces the season of Lent, showing us how its prayers and rituals point us not just to our own sinfulness but also beyond it to our merciful Savior.

A great resource.

What a wonderful and insightful listen. I am thankful for its conciseness also. More of this type of resource is needed.
