The characters were likable in the beginning, and it went down from there. After 10 hours, I was done with a book that really wasn't going anywhere.

Missed Ferrone

I really missed Richard Ferrone. I was excited about this new addition to the "Prey" series, but it was sort of ruined for me, because a different narrator was used. He wasn't bad, per se, but I missed Richard. The story was fine, but please go back to Ferrone for the next books in the series.

Waste of a credit

I couldn't make it past the first two hours. The narration is terrible, zero difference between characters. One long, screechy ramble, about a rich, entitled family who is miserable. I don't know how it ends, because two hours was beyond my limit. I kept hoping it would get better. Nope.

I am not sure what to write, I thought that the narration was excellent, but I found the story choppy and a bit disjointed. A tighter focus on main characters would have made the difference.

loved the amazing writing

This book was not my "norm". It is a fiction, somewhat mystical and fantasy. I loved the writing, so descriptive and wonderful. I haven't even finished this book, but I love the how the writing is different.

Enjoy this book. It isn't for children, but for adults who want to be back into that dreamy, child like state.

This book made me laugh out loud several times. I loved it. Every minute.

I thought that this story was great. love Jake B and his family, the same characters are back. The narration was excellent as well. I was a bit unsure with the negative reviews, but this one was great.

Couldn't finish the book

Normally, I love this series. This book just seemed to drag on about the Catholic church, and church politics. The intrigue was lost in the fact, if you are not Catholic you really have no clue what they are talking about.

Character is Unlikable

This is the 3rd or 4th book with this character, a newspaper reporter who is basically a narcissistic, self centered jerk. The main character of the book has become such a jerk each successive book, that finally I can't stand it any longer.

I didn't finish the book, because I can't stand the main character any longer. The narration is fine, story plods along, don't waste a credit here.

I finish all Audible books, except this one is so painful, it has finally made me break an unbroken record. The narrator is dull, monotonous, like he is reading a manual about car parts. No change in tone or anything, no matter who the character is.

The story, meh, not making any sense at all. And I am a complete fan of "The Hunger Games". Not worth a credit.

Fantastic

I rarely write reviews, but this book is outstanding. The best part, was that the author did her own narration, and her authenticity was stellar. She had an excellent voice for listening and made the content seem even more interesting. This is a great book.
