Historia
In Grimsgrave Hall, enigmatic Nicholas Brisbane has inherited a ruined estate, replete with uncanny tenants and one unwanted houseguest: Lady Julia Grey. Despite his admonitions to stay away, Lady Julia arrives in Yorkshire to find Brisbane as remote and maddeningly attractive as ever. Cloistered together, they share the moldering house with the proud but impoverished remnants of an ancient family: the sort that keeps their bloodline pure and their secrets close.

More mystery than romance, fair but not terrific.
Revisado: 05-02-11
This mystery takes a while to develop but comes together in the end. Over all there is very little romance in the story. Strong gay/lesbian subplot that the reader should know about before purchasing the audiobook. The narrater has an annoying voice for some characters but does very well with others. Overall just a fair experience.

wonderful mystery/romance
Revisado: 01-21-11
The story gives you just enough to keep you very interested without giving too much away and becoming predictable. The characters are believable and desirable. There is romance, mystery, humor and even tragedy. I found I cared about what happened to these people. I would have liked the narrator to do more with the voices but the story overcame her lack of performance. Overall very enjoyable.

good story poor language
Revisado: 01-03-11
This was a fun story with good characters. Unfortunately the author had a poor use of the English language and resorted to curse words repeatedly.

poor choice for Christmas story
Revisado: 12-15-10
The language was foul, the story tried to be PC with little or no mention of God. Shallow plot and characters popping into the story for no purpose. Poor excuse for a Christmas story.
