Historia
Ernest Hemingway's literary ambitions took root in France in the 1920s among some of the most extravagantly creative artists of the twentieth century. Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, James Joyce, T. S. Eliot, Gertrude Stein, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ezra Pound, and others were drawn to the left bank of the Seine in Paris after World War I. Hemingway joined them and, with the publication of his book The Sun Also Rises became one of the most powerful forces in the vortex of talent and experimentation.

Historia
As lead singer and songwriter for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anthony Kiedis has lived life on the razor's edge. Much has been written about him, but until now we've only had his songs as clues to his experience from the inside. In Scar Tissue, Kiedis proves himself to be as compelling a memoirist as he is a lyricist, giving us a searingly honest account of the life from which his music has evolved.

I kept waiting for the good parts.
Revisado: 01-18-21
this is a story about addiction from start to finish. Each woman he dated was hotter than the one before until he disappeared in a drug fueled haze then on to the next even sexier woman and on and on.
I did like the narrator. He had a rock star vibe and is the only reason I Finnished the book. many times I wanted to fast forward when once again he talked about setting out to score more cocaine and heroin but I was driving in traffic and suffered through it again and again.
