Historia
Outraged by the downward spiral of American intellect and culture, Michael R. LeGault offers the flip side of Malcolm Gladwell's best-selling phenomenon Blink, which celebrated impulse thinking over factual knowledge or critical analysis. If best-selling books are advising us to not think, LeGault argues, it comes as no surprise that sharp, incisive reasoning is on the decline, leading our society to incompetence and failure.

Great material
Revisado: 02-16-06
This is a prime example of why the new art of narration should be left to the professionals. Excellent material, however, he sounds like the teacher from Ferris Bueller's day off. The material is definitely interesting, however, he is putting me to sleep.

Historia
While in Paris, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is awakened by a phone call in the dead of the night. The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum, his body covered in baffling symbols. As Langdon and gifted French cryptologist Sophie Neveu sort through the bizarre riddles, they are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci—clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter.

Just the beginning...
Revisado: 12-03-05
This book was just enough to wet my appetite. I have to buy the unabridged version now. I enjoy both the physical and audio books. However, laying down on the couch, staring into the fire, I was able to envelop myself in the words of the text. When reading, you loose the ability to let your mind run wild. I felt as if I was drawn into the world along side the characters as they embarked upon their journey. In hollywood, you are limited to the visions of the director. In your mind, you are only limited to extent of your imagination. At the end of the book, I felt like I was just coming back home after having been on an amazing journey.

Historia
Can man live on fast food alone? Morgan Spurlock tried to do just that. For 30 days, he ate nothing but three "squares" a day from McDonald's as part of an investigation into the effects of fast food on American health. The resulting documentary won him resounding applause and a worldwide release that broke box-office records. Audiences were captivated by Spurlock's experiment, during which he gained 25 pounds, his blood pressure skyrocketed, and his libido all but disappeared.

A must listen
Revisado: 11-27-05
I have bought many books. Quite simply, Morgan is excited about his book. Just listen to a brief sample and you will hear it in his voice. He will excite you too. As the world of audible books grows, narrators must take his example. This is one of the few books that are going into my A list. I can't wait to see what he will do next!!!!

Groundbreaking
Revisado: 11-09-05
I will not review this content. Instead I will inform you why you will enjoy the Opie and Anthony Show. To put it simply, it is entertainment. So, why choose to be entertained by these two people? They are a new breed of talk show that does not assume the audience to be dazzled by gimmicks. They also assume that you will not be offended by toilet humor. This is not what their show is about, however, it is a nice departure from sensationalism. You will walk away being informed of todays news. You will have stuff to talk about with your friends that will captivate them. New ideas that can stimulate conversation will start to roll off your tongue. The marriage of talk radio and Audible content has never been more profound. This is a new breed of entertainment. This, my friend, is Audible.

Edge on a fast paced life
Revisado: 08-22-05
Life on the go just got easier. For many of us, we never get a chance to sit and read a newspaper. Time is money. Now, Audible makes it possible to listen to the newspaper while on the go. Technology has made it possible to remain on the go ad still enjoy our paper with a coffee (however no table and chair needed).
