Thrilling and Exciting!

Amazing follow up to the first story. If you loved the first one, then you will also love this one.
A lot of people on here complaining about the switching perspectives. But I loved Lark’s story. Sometimes I wished we stayed with her longer, and I hope we see more of her in the next story!

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

Beautifully written. Haunting and tragic. Thank you Jennette for sharing this with us. Definitely looking forward to anything else she writes in the future

Historia
Victor thought he won when he became the Hero. He thought he won when he took over the DFZ. He thought he’d made himself untouchable. He’s wrong. Lola isn’t the sad little monster she used to be. She has a plan, she has allies, she has more magic than she ever dreamed possible. Killing one blood mage should be easy with a fairy kingdom at her fingertips, but Victor didn't make himself a god by playing fair, and his bag of tricks is far from empty.

I’m going to miss the DFZ
Revisado: 02-15-24
I got into the DFZ stories a few months ago, and listened to them all with perfect timing to reach this final book in time for its release.
I’ve come to love this world and the people in it. This was an epic conclusion to Lola’s story, and I hope that someday we may get an epic story with Julius, Opal, and Lola all together maybe?!?!?
I’d at least love another series in the DFZ this trilogy leaves us with. It was all such an amazing ride, and I’m looking forward to whatever else Rachel Aaron has in store for us!

Historia
The DFZ, the metropolis formerly known as Detroit, is the world’s most magical city with a population of nine million and zero public safety laws. That’s a lot of mages, cybernetically enhanced chrome heads, and mythical beasties who die, get into debt, and otherwise fail to pay their rent. When they can’t pay their bills, their stuff gets sold to the highest bidder. That’s when they call me. I’m a Cleaner: a freelance mage employed by the DFZ to sort through the mountains of magical junk people leave behind. It’s not a pretty job, or a safe one....

Revisado: 01-03-24
I listened to this entire trilogy and absolutely loved it. But then I went back to the original heartstriker series and now I’m listening to this one again try to catch all the Easter eggs. This is a very fun story and for me to be completely entertained twice in a row Says something about it

Historia
There is no way to write a blurb for this final book without spoiling all of the others. Suffice it to say, mysteries resolve, dragons war, pigeons abound, and Julius must risk himself in ways he never dreamed possible as Bob's grand plan finally comes to fruition.

Revisado: 12-29-23
I went through the DFZ series first with Opal and Nik. I came to this series after and oh my goodness. What a masterpiece. I can’t believe it’s over. Now I have to go back to the DFZ series to catch all of the Easter eggs
