This was so well written & performed. I wasn’t really wanting to listen, I thought it would be just a brief introduction to the book. I kept listening & it was so well done I had to listen to the end. Congratulations to all…

What a surprise!
Revisado: 09-20-21
I loved the Notebook. My Mother too had Alzheimer’s. In her later life a man who also had Alzheimer’s came into her life. He was from another state. They bonded & it was as if they were together all their life. He fell one day, broke his leg & gave up on life. Mother stayed beside him until death. She mourned the lost to herself & never spoke a word about him again. We never understand the togetherness they had. Two strangers with Alzheimer’s who loved one another till the end.
I loved Wilson for wanting to work at getting what he once had.

Awesome Presention
Revisado: 10-20-20
I laughed, I cried, I totally enjoyed this story. The story was so real, the research for this story was so good and the imagination of putting this story together was superb. The narration by Angela Dawe was supportive to the story, all the different dialects were so good. One felt they were there. I do appreciate Chapter 42, telling the end of the story. Chapter 43, telling about the author, her research.. A really really good book!

Interesting time in History
Revisado: 02-01-20
I had just finished listening to “Sailing from Byzantium” when I came across this book. I’ve listened to a lot about English & European history. My husband is a Mason so it pert my interest. I enjoyed learning of a travel from England to Jerusalem and back. How treacherous it was in those times. Not much better today. William seems to be a very honest, trustworthy, loving man. Totally enjoyed the story.

What a life! I laughed and I was saddened, I knew what was next & then I didn't.... I loved the play on words and the meaning behind them. This was a very good story to get "OUT OF OZ"! Mr. Maguire your imagination is truly a gift. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Mr. McDonough thank you again for the narration of this volume. Listening to your voice and how you made each character so different made this audible awesome.

To be so insecure
Revisado: 06-02-18
I was looking for something different to listen to and came across this book. It is a classic and being I have done much reading in my life I thought it would be a good one to experience. I had not read anything about the Russian life so it was interesting to learn this. It is sad the Anna couldn't be happy with the new love. And sad that she left life in the way she did. I realized that a man wrote the book & there is a lot of different people who narrates this story and I liked Davina Porter's voice the best. Maybe because I've listened to all of the "Outlander" series...

Revisado: 06-02-18
I love Sidroc in the other books. Now to hear his story from childhood on was wonderful, Funny how different upbrings makes people handle life different. To be treated badly by a stepmother & to grow to be a loving man. And Nano Nagle narrated beautiful as usual.
