Historia
“Dirk Pitt is oceanography’s answer to Indiana Jones”, praises the Associated Press. “Exotic locations, ruthless villains and many narrow escapes - Cussler’s fans come for swashbuckling [and] he delivers”. And now Pitt’s back to find a crucial piece of marine tech that could reshape the United States’ defense program. It is the greatest advance in American defense technology in decades - an attack submarine capable of incredible underwater speeds. There is only one problem: A key element of the prototype is missing - and the man who developed it is dead.

Gripping narrative
Revisado: 05-12-24
One thing I’ve always enjoyed about the Dirk Pitt and NUMA series of novels is the immersive descriptiveness and attention to even the minutest of details. From start to finish it drew me in and let me feel like I was right there in the middle of the action.

This manual will give you the incognito tools that'll make you a master of anonymity! Other books tell you to install Tor and then encrypt your hard drive...and leave it at that. I go much deeper, delving into the very engine of ultimate network security, taking it to an art form where you'll grow a new darknet persona - how to be anonymous online without looking like you're trying to be anonymous online.

great book
Revisado: 05-11-16
loved it. it was a lot of fun with all the 80s references were woven into the storyline. definitely one of my "couldn't put it down" favorites. The author's other book "Armada" was equally good.

not entirely unabridged
Revisado: 02-04-16
I have always enjoyed this book whenever I read it. I purchase unabridged versions of books when I get them in audio format whenever possible. I definitely enjoyed the presentation, but was a bit disappointed to find that quite a bit had been left out. I realize the portions that were left out weren't really essential to the performance or story, especially if the listener hadn't read it before, but to someone who has probably read it a few dozen times at least, it left the over all story feeling a bit disjointed and more like a collection of related short stories. over all, still an enjoyable listen.
