Brilliant, I need more!
Revisado: 02-27-25
I need more!! I went into this blind with this new to me author and narrator. And boy, was I surprised and impressed. It was more than I expected.
I may have picked this based on the stunningly beautiful cover and the genre I was in the mood for, but the gem hiding inside kept me coming back for more.
This had a great gradual build up into an EPIC storyline where I didn’t want to stop. The details were graphic, the characters were unique, the world building was on par.
I’m getting ready to purchase the paperback to read it again and share with my daughter. I need someone to talk to about it.
Darren took an already amazing story and brought it alive to a level that exceeded my expectations. The detail and diversity he acted out had me visualizing the scenes and characters perfectly. All I can say is the author and narrator are meant to work together. They compliment each other nicely.
I’m now anxiously waiting for the next in The Chronicles of the 13th Tribe. I need more now!
I highly recommend this read/listen.

Compelling Mystery
Revisado: 12-03-24
I trust no one. No one at all.
This story had me suspicious of every single person that Hazel came across including those close to her. This was a well built up mystery with variety of characters.
The clues were dropped here and there for the reader to determine the outcome, but even if you are sure you know the answer, you probably don’t.
The narrator blew this one out of the park. They captured every character and had a unique and distinguished voice to keep them apart. They were on que for every emotion and perfected even the suspenseful moments. Plain and simple, this narrator executed an exquisite performance.
I highly recommend the book, especially the audiobook.

Phenomenal story and narration
Revisado: 11-25-24
I needed a change from my usual reads and this one was recommended by my co-worker. I absolutely LOVED it! It was exactly what I needed.
I held onto every little clue and information I could, and when I thought I knew it all, the author threw twist after twist at me. I was left shocked.
This contained action, unaliving, suspense, a touch of romance, and so much mystery and chaos.
This was well written and the narration was perfectly executed. This does wrap up some of the plot but leaves a bit of a hook, a cliffhanger. It isn’t intense enough to have me throwing my phone, but it leaves me satisfied yet curious.
I highly recommend.

Phenomenal as always with JT’s Books!
Revisado: 07-18-24
“Stockholm Syndrome runs in the family.” This story had me laughing, biting my lip, fanning my face, and so much more.
Never say never. Malik tried but fell horribly wrong. Or should I say horribly right?
Riley may not be the most beautiful and stunning woman. She isn’t like her sister, Sloan, but she has her own charm. And a sharp tongue.
Time and time again, I’m left beyond satisfied and yearning for the next book of this author’s. And when it comes to to read, her audiobooks are my go to. The narrators capture the characters and accents perfectly, they make it entertaining and the story becomes alive, I feel like I’m part of it all.
Highly recommend!

Wild Ride
Revisado: 04-17-24
Immediately from the beginning Zoe’s story caught my attention and held on tight. This was an intense ride that didn’t disappoint. I was sad it had to end.
The narrators captured the characters perfectly. I was surprised at the range of voices each narrator could create, they made it easy to know who was who.

Revisado: 09-28-23
Dual narration, the best!!
Bada$$-Mouthy heroine, snarky banter, and intense chemistry, it’s the perfect Enemies to Lovers.
I loved this!
Immediately, the story jumps right into a suspenseful scene, not letting up to any lulls in the story. Packed full of entertainment.
Sloan cracks me up. She is something else and the way she drives Declan insane is the absolute best. She controls every man around her, it doesn’t matter if they are her enemy or not. The way Declan fights against her crazy control is beyond entertaining.
These two love to fight and fight for their love, they are perfect for each other.
Highly recommend and if you can listen to the audiobook, do it. It takes the story to the next level.

Historia
Lucy Hutton has always been certain that the nice girl can get the corner office. She's charming and accommodating and prides herself on being loved by everyone at Bexley & Gamin. Everyone except for coldly efficient, impeccably attired, physically intimidating Joshua Templeman. And the feeling is mutual. Trapped in a shared office together 40 (ok, 50 or 60) hours a week, they've become entrenched in an addictive, ridiculous never-ending game of one-upmanship.

Wish I read this sooner. LOVE!
Revisado: 09-23-23
Hidden under the grumpy jerk, Josh really is a hurt, insecure man that needs to be loved and challenged. No one, I mean no one but his own mother can tolerate this attractive yet rough man.
I’ve been wanting to read this for so long, now that I have, I’m kicking myself for not reading sooner.
These two enemies really knew how to take the banter to the next level.
😏“Do you want a phone book to sit on? How’d you get so small?”
😒”I shrank in the wash.”
I want more of them. I felt the end came too fast and I wanted to continue to see their interactions. I want a book two!
The narrator did a phenomenal job portraying the characters, especially different personalities. This was my first of hers and it definitely won’t be the last.
Whether you listen to the audiobook or pick up the book, I highly recommend you read this.

It's everything and more!
Revisado: 05-10-23
I love how I can read a book and think I’ve absorbed every word, every bit of emotion, but then I listen to the audiobook and see things in a whole new light. It captures the piece of my heart that I didn’t know was hiding. The narrators took charge and became the characters. They perfected the emotion, pain, sarcasm, and heat. They didn’t miss a thing and I soaked it all in like a sponge.
Holy moly, this has jumped up to my top favorite book of all time!
Remington and Eden are like no other.
Remington reminds me of Dean from Supernatural (who doesn’t love him and his sarcasm?), add in the Chevy Impala and there was no doubt that Remington was my dream man. The Adam to my Eve. The villain I never knew I needed until now.
I’ve been anticipating Remington’s story since the beginning when I first met him. He stood out and demanded attention and the author gave it, ten fold.
Like a strong vortex sucking me, I willingly went with because I know, without a doubt, I will find love through the heartbreak. I will laugh my butt off and I will melt.
This is deeper, darker story was complete perfection. The need is strong to start over and re-read over and over again. It is by far one of my top favorite books now. It had me internally squealing in delight.
This author is seriously my hero because I’ve never read a book with this much sarcasm and banter as this one. It was absolutely 110% amazing. I’ve never highlighted so many witty and hilarious quotes as I did with this book.
If you haven’t started this series, you need to. Your won’t know what you are missing from your life until you discover The Potters.

Dr. Duke Potter is no hero. Nor am I some damsel that needs saving—if that’s what we’re calling it. But that’s exactly what Duke thinks he did when he found me on the arm of a short-tempered congressman, arranged to be married. I should have told him the truth. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Duke and I have caused a scandal. This time, though, we have more than just our reputations on the line.

Absolute Perfection!
Revisado: 11-30-22
I don’t know how Heather and Connor do it but time and time again they bring Kristy Marie’s stories alive and they did it again.
They had me so wrapped up in the characters, before I knew it, the story was over.
I could listen to this over and over again. It was perfection.
“Where’s my heart Ray?”
I felt this deep in my bones.
Kristy Marie has a special power that can pull out emotions from me that I never knew I had.
I swear, it’s witchcraft the way she molds her words and characters to give the reader more than they ever imagined.
Duke and Ramsey’s story is the most extreme emotional rollercoaster, filled with moments of heartbreak, panty-melting heat, laughter, heart filling love, and giddy excitement.
There were brilliant and wise words that help me on a personal level.
This was beyond unexpected.
I can’t imagine my heart becoming fuller as it has with Duke and Ramsey.
Their love, their passion, their completion of each other is something that you only read in books. But yet it’s so raw and pure, there’s no touching their love on any other level.
