This book talks about weight loss but the nutritional plan would be best suited to someone going from scrawny to fit. Eating 6 times a day and tons of carbohydrates will not allow your insulin levels to drop and therefore will promote fat storage vs fat burning.

There is a lot of great information in this book. Unfortunately the narrator makes a mistake, there’s a pause... then a clap, then he restarts... then... again... and again...
The quality department should have edited the audio better, cut out the stammers, pauses and claps. The author does well until he doesn’t, then it goes down hill really quickly.
I will be swapping this book out. I just can’t finish it.

While an all protein or ‘carnivore’ diet is better than a carbohydrate rich diet, some of the ‘science’ given in this book is dubious and without citation, so you can’t even look up what he may have misunderstood. The talks about how great a ketogenic state is while demonizing fats. He states correctly that not all calories are created equal, but then follows up with ‘fats are bad as they are more calorie dense than proteins.
While I have no doubt you could lose weight with this program, the information provided is inaccurate and misleading.
If you are a fan of science based advice complete with citations, I would recommend Dr. Jason Fungs ‘The Obesity Code’.

I find this book so positive. I find myself going back and re-listening to it every few months just to keep everything fresh in my mind. There are multiple narrators and some of them are very exuberant, but they are all very clear and easy to understand. I have gifted this book in hard copy to a few people now.
