Historia
It’s been six years without a winning season, and Coach Grant Taylor’s job is on the line. Unless the Shiloh Christian Eagles turn things around - and fast - he’s history. Unfortunately, their leading scorer has just left for a rival school and the team has lost its drive. The pressure is on, and the stakes are high. On the home front, things aren’t much better for Grant. His house is falling apart. His old clunker of a car keeps dying, and the coach and his wife have been unsuccessful in their attempts to start a family.

Faith and football
Revisado: 02-05-25
Excellent football story with admirable players & coaches who needed God to help them rise up to face their tough challenges. The male, female tag team narrators were refreshing!

The honorable young surgeon is rewarded with what matters most.
Revisado: 01-17-25
Too often people selfishly control their destiny to get what they desire. Young Dr. Laraby with the help of God and his kid sister humbly blazed a benevolent trail at the end of the civil war that brought healing to poor, sick people and met the needs of others as he made wise choices and overcame adversities. A very uplifting story about hard work, doing what’s right and caring for the woman he truly loved.

Excellent account of early Revolutionary War adventures
Revisado: 12-28-24
Gilbert Morris masterfully wove early American family members and their realistic life challenges, dreams, plots and romance with the birthing of America and General George Washington’s faith, dedicated leaders & soldiers, army and successful strategies. A very believable historical account.

The story was 5⭐️. So was narrator.
Revisado: 12-19-24
This is my favorite author. I own over 100 of his great historical Christian fiction books. He develops characters so well. He includes true historical names & events. This whole 7 book series keeps me riveted. I will pursue more of Robert Whitfield’s narrations. He is the best male narrator I’ve heard. Thank you 4 creating the 36 audio books that I presently own. Y’all are a blessing 2 me. I am 67 years old.

A powerful story of loyalty, passion and bravery during the war that almost divided America.
Revisado: 01-01-24
Author Gilbert Morris wrote a believable historical novel as though he himself lived through the disruptive and damaging civil war. Both Union and Confederate family members, uncomfortable situations, soldiers signing up, daughter’s responses and even presidential leaders were dramatically developed to carry the listener along a dynamic adventure including faith, hope and love. I felt the narrator portrayed numerous male, female voices excellently especially during very touching moments. This is one of my favorite stories in the Appomattox Saga by Gilbert Morris.
