Now I have to say that few romance novels like this hook me from the start, but this one did. I was fired up and obsessed with listening and reading this book. I love the chemistry between the main characters was off the wall epic. I have never read anything from Dana Mason, but I have since put her on my list of authors that I want to keep track of and buy more books from.

I am a picky person when it comes to narrators because I have had my share of super slow and terrible narrators. Kelsey Navarro was spot on in her voices and speed. I loved the way she was able to switch with ease and didn't slow down while doing so. I will keep an eye out for more from this narrator as well.

Perfect Mix

I am not a massive fan of the predictability of books unless I am in the mood and boy was I in the mood for this one. I loved how this was the perfect mix of Mob/Cinderella type story with just enough action to keep me Listening.

The narrator did an excellent job in switching and read at a pace that I didn't have to put my app at 1.25 or 1.50. This for me a is a plus because I can't stand narrators that drag out the words and sentences and words.

Obsessed!

So it is official, I am OBSESSED! This series has me staying up all night to see what will happen next, but so worth it. The storyline keeps getting better and better, and Alexa, Arys, and Shaz are hot as heck. I love the twists and turns and again once you think you have something figured out another twist is thrown in the mix. I was SHOCKED near the end but promised not to give away any secrets, but a good kind of shock!

Again LOVE Sarah Puckett as a narrator!!

Couldn't Stop Listening!!!

Can I say, WHAT A BOOK! I was hooked within the first five minutes of this book and couldn't stop listening to it. I ended up purchasing the book and read it after listening to it; yes, it was that good. The build-up between Kiera and Ashton is incredible and one that you fall in love with. Though domestic abuse isn't a light-hearted topic, C.A. Harms does it with grace and justice, making me love this book even more. I can't wait to dive into the next book in this series.

Sarah Puckett does an excellent job easing between Kiara and Ashton's point of view voices, making the whole listening experience epic. Puckett is fastly becoming one of those go to narrators that I seek out like Saskia Maarleveld, Andi Arndt, and Emily Woo Zeller, just to name a few!

Can't Get Enough......

I can't get enough of this series and just when I think I have it figured out something changes. The dynamics between Alexa, Arys, and Shaz, are heart-stopping hot and intriguing. The shock near the end of the book was one that I was hoping would happen but didn't expect it, especially not on the suggestion of a particular person. Now add in the unexpected Kale and the entanglement he seems to have caught himself in, and the plot only thickens. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book and dive into the mystery of who Alexa really is!

The only complaint I would have is I didn't like some of the character flaws Alexa seems to be plagued with, making her look flighty and indecisive at time. That's just my perspective on Alexa, but it definitely will not deter me from reading the next book and finding out precisely what is happening to my now three favorite characters.

Great Start to the Series!

Bitten Once is by far the best mix of paranormal creatures and powers I have come across in a while. You have the perfect blend of suspense, love, and attraction just waiting to be unlocked. I fell in love with the characters quickly and can't wait to see what happens to Alexa and her relationship between Arys and Shaz. Sarah also nailed these characters and personalities and gave life to the various voices of each of the characters!

Can't Get Enough

First, I can't tell you how much I love this book other than I have read it too many times to count and listened to the audible just as much! HOT is not the word, more like on FIRE!! The male voice for Trent Rexroth is hot as FU** and adds so much more to the book. I love the buildup between Edie and Trent is hot and L.J. Shen does an excellent job in epic charector development and storyline with a hotness that I melted over. This is a must read!

I received this book for a book review and OMG!! No joke this was a pleasant surprise for me, as to how much I would love this book.

The book comes off to a slow start but holy moly once you are part way through the first chapter you are hooked. I lost sleep over this last night because I couldn't stop listening and am defiantly moving onto book two. I have to know what happened and how it's all going to play out! If you are looking for a thrilling, edge of your seat, can't wait to turn the page or listen to the next chapter, this book will do it for you. Can't wait to dive into the next book!!!

WHAT THE HECK!!

What did you love best about Carter Reed 2?

I don't even know what to say other than, WOW! I loved this book more than the first and Tijan so has to have a third book in this series. Like you left me wanting and hoping for more.

If you could take any character from Carter Reed 2 out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would so take Carter out, who else....hehehehe! He is just, WOW!

I have read this series several times and have listened to them several times as well. Again Tijan you yank me right into your world with in minutes of opening your books!

Yes, I have listed to it several times and I so wish we could see a third book to this series.

What does Jillian Macie bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Again, a stellar performance and again pulled me in right away!

Yes, I actually did listen to this in one sitting on a very rainy Sunday!
