Lackluster in Comparison

After being obsessed with Fausto and the rest of the Kings of Italy series, this was a fairly bland let down. The story seemed to lack the excitement that would normally keep me reading, and the intimate scenes seemed to lack variation. I wish that I had read it instead of using a credit, but I really expected more.

Non stop sex. Lack of any actual story.

I loved both narrators, but the total lack of any story and continuous sex scenes were a turn off to me. It’s not that I mind the dark sensual parts, but enough was enough, and the female lead got increasingly frustrating with her continual childish defiance all the way to the end.

A Struggle to Finish

I can't say that there was any part of this book that really kept me riveted. Sick mom, mean dad, hero who denies what he knows to be true, blah, blah, blah. I turned up the speed and skipped some chapters just to finish it but won't be wasting a credit on the cliff hanging conclusion.

Series Greatness!

I've read Marriage Auction 1 and 2 and these books are fabulous. Laugh, cry or swoon as you read when these colorful characters come to life in your mind. A perfect mixture of everything all tied into a HEA bow!

Predictable, Repeatitive and Lack of Angst

This one was a bit too easy and cheesy for me. Some angst might have helped during the time that they were separated but even that became lovey-dovey! The pet names were all a bit immature for adult professionals and if he called her his sweetheart (in Spanish) one more time I thought I was gonna lose it. I eventually got to the end but really wished that I hadn't wasted a credit on this one!

Unbelievably Bad!

As a long time Audible member, I have nearly 150 books in my library and this one was among the very worst ever! First of all, turn up the audio speed as the cadence is so agonizingly slow and only enhances the dragged on detail of events. In addition, the story would suddenly switch to another person or event that was not previously clarified. Wish that I could get my credit back but will settle to know that I’ll steer clear of this author.

Absolutely Delicious!!

I’m a huge mafia storyline fan but it’s been quite some time since a book with that subject matter has grabbed me from the beginning and held my interest. This two part set had everything that you could hope for including age gap romance, incredibly erotic sex, mafia dealings, family ties, and a beautiful love story. Luckily i’ve found that there are several more books in the series involving other family members so I know that I’ll be ordering them next!

Far too long…

I’m a fan of T. L. Swan but this book was excruciating in its length. Intimate scenes were far too frequent and eventually found me fast forwarding as I did with many other parts of the book. Although you assumed that they would eventually find that they weren’t siblings, the incest factor was a little disturbing as well. In truth, I only finished it because I paid for it.

I read the whole thing as the storyline was just a bit different for a while. The sex scenes were way too many in my estimation, and the first one was just a little too gross for me. Not being a prude as I like those delicious scenes, but this was a little to much.

So Fantastic…..and Free!

I frequently use a credit on a book that is lukewarm or disappointing, but couldn’t be happier with this one for free!! This was such a down to story with wonderful humor, sweet emotions, a little bit of angst, and a beautiful happily ever after. Such an incredibly wonderful read!!
