Could NOT stop!

I seriously could not stop listening to this book once I got it. It's over 10 hours long and I listened to it straight. I thought it was that good. I've already downloaded book 2.

Sounded good on paper...

z did not really enjoy this book. In fact I couldn't finish it. The story line is ok. Kinda slow moving at parts and too graphic at others. The voice actors did a good job given the material they had to work with. I will not be recommending this series to anyone.

Liked more than I thought

When I first started listening to this book I wasn't to keen on it. I soon found myself no being able to stop listening. I spent the the first 11 years of my life growing up in Alaska, and I could relate to some of her anecdotes. It took me only 2 days to devour the book.

I really loved hearing her tale. The narrator sounded really good and did this story justice. I couldn't stop listening. So captivating, I listened to the whole book at one setting.

Really good story.

I found this to be a very good story. I could hardly put it down. The only thing I would change is how sexually graphic it is, but that won't stop me from getting the next in the series. I'm glad I found this book and that there's more in the series. Juliette Cross is a really good author and knows how to write an engaging story. I can't wait to start the next one.

I found it riveting

I found this book riveting. I could barely put it down. When I was 3 days old back in 1978 we moved from Washington State to Alaska because my dad got a job up there. We lived in Anchorage for 6mo maybe a year (I was an infant so I wouldn't know). Then we moved up to Kotzebue, an Eskimo village on an island North of Nome. We lived there until I was 5 when we moved down to Eagle River (a little town outside of Anchorage). Dad got a job in the Bush out in the middle of nowhere that was closer to Anchorage than Kotz. We lived there until I was 11 and moved to New Mexico in the middle of Summer. Man was that a shock to the system. Listening to this book brought back memories of living up there that I had forgotten. I remember participating in the blanket toss and going to Fur Rendezvous Day ("dressing up" like a trapper and my mother being irritated with the closure of streets in Anchorage for the Iditarod and many more. I loved the way at least 1 character from the story just finished showed up in the next story. The book is incredibly written and incredibly read. I would listen to more from both the author and the narrator.

Been rereading both series for decades

I absolutely love these books. I've been reading them since I was in my early 20s and discovered "Dragon Prince" at a Walden Bookstore. Here I am deeply entrenched in my 40s and I still cry when a main "good guy" character dies. Often a chapter or two in advance because I know that it's coming. I'm so happy that there are audiobooks so I can listen to it while working on my cross stitching. In a few months maybe next year I will listen to the series again.

Perfect Ending

This last book in the series was the perfect ending. A lot of time writers of multiple book series tend to rush the ending making the reader confused and wanting more or a better explanation. But not with this series. You almost feel like you're there fighting in the battle as you read/listen to it. Brandon Sanderson does such a great job finishing the series. This is the first time I have made it to the end of the books because life and I have to say I wish I had gotten to it sooner. I'm looking forward to experiencing the whole Wheel of Time series again in the future.
