Historia
Each of us identifies with certain universal myths and symbols known as Archetypes. In this new work, Myss covers 10 primary archetypes: Caregiver, Artist, Fashionista, Intellectual, Rebel, Queen/Executive, Advocate, Visionary, Athlete, and Spiritual Seeker. She helps us determine which archetypes best define us as individuals, laying out each archetype’s unique path, strengths, and weaknesses. By identifying our personal archetypes, we gain the knowledge necessary to live an authentic life that reflects who we really are.

Boundaries of the Soul has become recognized as the classic introduction to Jung and the practice of Jung’s psychology. Now, in a completely revised edition of Boundaries of the Soul, Dr. Singer incorporates the latest developments in Jungian psychology over the last two decades, particularly in the areas of masculine/feminine relationships, the use of psychotherapeutic drugs, and the evolution of Jung’s concept and personality types and its application both clinically and in the world of business and industry.

An excellent summation of Jung’s thought.
Revisado: 09-08-24
I liked the complete and systematic examination of Jung’s whole life and his work. It describes his thinking about shadow work, the persona, the adima and, Adamus, complexes,
individuation, integration of the conscious and unconscious, the Self and more! The author uses excellent examples from her clinical practice to illustrate Jung’s thinking. It is a long and comprehensive book, but definitely worth it!

Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

A very raw, practical self-help book

I liked the author’s honesty, willingness to be vulnerable, and his down to earth common sense wisdom.

Historia
Every investment plan under the sun is, at best, an informed speculation of what may happen in the future, based on a systematic extrapolation from the known past. Same as Ever reverses the process, inviting us to identify the many things that never, ever change. With his usual elan, Morgan Housel presents a master class on optimizing risk, seizing opportunity, and living your best life. Through a sequence of engaging stories and pithy examples, he shows how we can use our newfound grasp of the unchanging to see around corners.
