With nearly a century of stories and a epic career of achievements, this was the longest autobiography I've listened to. Just soak it up, there'll never me another like Mel.

Interesting successes and struggles

Loved his early stuff and after finding, and liking, his 2017 album was interested in the journey between those points. Not disappointed.

Disappointing

Maybe it worked in book form. Considering it was written by two comedians, who then "performed" it, it was hugely disappointing. Sounds like it was made from pieces and has no flow.
I like Elis and John but this should be erased from history.

Not read well at times

Been listening to a lot of memoirs and it still confuses and annoys me when an actor can't read their own words naturally. Inflections are wrong or sentences are monotonous. It's like a child reading a book they haven't read before. The only issue here being that this is a professional actor reading words they supposedly wrote.

It was nice to hear the perspective of someone who seems famous yet doesn't necessarily feel it.
I prefer to hear autobiographies from the author but it was almost poetic that one more "Fred Stoller" part should go to someone other than the man himself.
