Historia
Years ago, a very intoxicated Martin nearly died in the woods outside Everlasting, and a beautiful creature saved him, although Martin’s done his best to forget it. He spends his time in a haze of weed as he avoids his emotionally abusive mother - and the way he feels about men. Martin is already a weirdo in his isolated small town; he doesn’t need a sexuality crisis, too.

Paranormal Romance with Big Feels
Revisado: 08-12-24
A great paranormal romance with all-too-human roadblocks. This is my favorite of Cooper's Beings In Love series. The coastal town of Everlasting & the Everlasting Cuppa coffee shop were introduced in Treasure For Treasure. This is Martin's book. The path to Love isn't smooth for Martin & Ian. R. Cooper moves the POV back between our heroes. Their coming together is set against dealing with a homophobic parent, unhealthy self-medicating behavior, feelings expressed through weather, a turning point in Draconic influence, & surprises around whose magical powers were responsible for protecting Everlasting in the past. All that & two young men finding a way to partnership & love.
There are many longish pauses in the audio, which is a little annoying.

Historia
The BHP is a chronological retelling of the history of Britain with a particular focus upon the lives of the people. You won’t find a dry recounting of dates and battles here, but instead you’ll learn about who these people were and how their desires, fears, and flaws shaped the scope of this island at the edge of the world. And some of those desires are downright scandalous.
